Funny thing happened.... Due to lower temps and wet conditions a few footballs lost air pressure....wala....and the NFL said now we have the evidence.......they put them away for safe keeping and put the emergency set of balls in play.....Then when Goddell and his cronies went back to process their treasured evidence it was GONE... the treasured missing air was back witch screwed their whole case....You see... the increased surface area of the wet leather stretching under pressure, dried out and shrunk, reducing surface area and.....increasing air pressure.....to make matters worst the balls returned to room temp, causing the air molicules to expand and also....increase air pressure.......SO the lost PSI were never lost....just misunderstood??? SO how will the NFL extricate itself from this cluster flux......this is what is taking so long....

"I hate to say it, but those molecules, we need to look at their accomplishments with some degree of skepticism. Their achievements are tarnished."

-Jerry Rice

Did the Lombardi trophies stick to Jerry's hands?

So doesn't Rice's stickum taint every record Joe Montana has? Every single TD he's thrown to Rice is now suspect. Every pass Rice has caught from Montana in Super Bowls should be suspect. Montana shouldn't have 3 SB MVP's, and the whole SF "Dynasty" has an asterisk next to it.

Throw an asterisk next to drama queen Steve Young's "Championship" also

I would think so, when i think of cheating in the nfl, camera placement doesnt come to my mind, or squeezing guys nuts in a pile trying to get the to cough up a ball, or salary cap violations, the only thing that pops in my head is that raider guy from decades ago totally covered in stickum. Stickum is like the pinnacle of cheating in football.

Rice is a clown no doubt, but I respect the rest of those 49er teams highly. Ronnie Lott is one of my all-time favorite players, dude was a monster and made every WR think twice about going over the middle.

Roger Craig was a fairly underrated back that was supremely talented. Montana is Montana, an all time great and arguably the GOAT.

You'll never be able to say who the greatest QB of all time is but I'm thrilled that Tom is in the discussion and ring #4 makes a solid case.

The 49er legacy is tainted now. Cheaters.

Montana* Rice* Lott* Craig* Walsh*

Le-Le-Le-Le-Lester Hayes?

Remember, not only did Rice admit to using stickum, but he also claimed that everybody did it. In other words, all of San Francisco's receivers were probably cheating.

This Hater has jumped the shark. I won't link to his "Fiasco" article. Read it if you must, here's a taste.
Borges: If you believe the Ideal Gas Law of atmospheric conditions as a cause of deflation you are, to be kind, an idiot.
