PFT: It was the Pats who raised the issue of an improper ball to the league

Florio says the league should have considered how hard it would be to come up with the evidence so maybe they should have never pulled the pin out on the integrity of the game grenade. Florio if i remember correctly was one of the first and worst accusers of the patriots when the story broke, he should be the last person to call out the league.

yeah, your right, I forgot they left NY state
My guess is that it is probably some sort of non-essential satellite office to the league office in Manhattan. It's cheaper to locate an office out in Long Island, especially for a location with access to an auction warehouse where you need lots of space, and Floral Park would be near enough to the Hempstead stop on the LIRR that New York City residents could commute out.

Also if the Colts did originally raise the concern than Florio's story is wrong. And that's not a shocker.

This story makes no sense whatsoever! If the Colts had complained to the league beforehand about under inflated balls. And the league had run a sting operation on the Pats as Grigson seems to say. Then wouldn't the league have checked the ball PSI before the game and recorded it. Wouldn't the other league officials have been informed or at least noticed the changed procedures and not have tried to steal a ball?
Sound and smells like a bunch of horse **** (get it) to me!
It's a shame Wells isn't an actual independent investigator. It would have been really interesting to see what he actually turns up. Instead we will hear what "da furor" wants us to hear!

Good thing Kelly Naqi took all that time to get the story and collect all the relevant information. I wonder when her next "big scoop" will be?

I'm guessing a litter box at Petsmart.

He is saying that the Patriots were the ones who brought the "K" ball issue to the attention of the league, not the other supposedly deflated balls.

Sorry, but I doubt it. They sit in front of their cameras for two weeks straight calling the Patriots cheaters, calling Belichick and Brady liars, and running New England's historic Superbowl run through the mud.

This is what will stick, because they decide what sticks and what doesn't.

When they're proven wrong, they won't look like buffoons, because, unfortunately, they're the media, and the media decides who looks like buffoons and who doesn't. Unless ESPN is going to run 24/7 stories about how stupid and wrong they were, there is nobody to make them look as idiotic as they are and deserve outside a few diligent message board posters, which isn't enough.

People like Jerome Bettis will still be talking about "deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game" three years from now, jamming it into Crygate conversations, regardless of the outcome.

The media is this nations omnipotent Master, no matter how ridiculous and embarrassing its members are, because, sad as it is, the masses are even more ridiculous, and even more embarrassing.

Hey NBCSN, CBS Sports, etc. or anyone else who wants to start a new sports news organization and channel. You want to deal a major blow to the 800 pound gorilla in your marketplace? Here's your chance. Wrapped up in a nice big bow. Sic 'em! :)
