2/18/2015: Schefter Blows Up ESPN's Earlier Story

So it was a sting...

Colts GM Grigson says he was just trying to "level the playing field" by calling out Patriots

Ummmm......Mr. Grigson, in order to level the playing field, you would had to amputate every Patriots' right leg.

Grigson comes off as petty . Clearly he is like Faulk who is still pissed at the 2001 Rams loss.

I hope everyone is aware that Ryan Grigson not only has worked for the Colts whom the Patriots have embarrassed in every game they've played since Grigson became GM (59-24, 43-22, 42-20, 45-7) -but he also worked for the 01 Rams AND the 04 Eagles.. both of whom lost the Superbowl to the Patriots.

Grigson: We had concerns. Want a level playing field. Up to the league to make sure that happens. If rules were broken, we'll see

For a guy to be so concerned about level playing field and balls, why is he the head of an organization that deliberately tanked/sucked for Luck, and why isn't he concerned that his team showed up with no balls whatsoever on game day?

Roger Goodell: "This wasn't a sting operation... It was more like a gotcha operation. Totally different."

Ya this admission doesn't extremely raise the suspicion of what the colts did with the Pats ball on the sideline or that they came into the game knowing that more than likely balls were going to be gauged at HT so let's fill our footballs up to 13.5 in the conditions.

And give BB a lobotomy.

The playing field IS level Ryan, Pats are just better than you.

Now why don't you talk about how you managed to lose your franchise QB one year, only to fortuitously end up with the top pick next year to draft your next one?

Logic:

If the Patriots were alerting the NFL about the kicking balls then.........

WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY BE SCREWING AROUND WITH THE REGULAR FOOTBALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully, he isn't long for the NE sports scene period. He's wretched.

It's still early, but he seems to be on the Salk 2.0 track.

So Grigson said in public today that he was "just trying to level the playing field".

Is that NOT a libelous claim?

He basically accused them of cheating at this press conference.

It seems that Grigson is worried that the Wells report is going to put him in a bad light and trying to get ahead of it.

But if the Colts knew that the Pats would get their balls inspected at halftime without warning, they might have over inflated their footballs to make sure they would be legal at half time. It could be why Luck played so bad.

So:

The Colts went INTO the AFCCG with a plan.

Someone within the Colts contacts Kravitz after the game to give him the scoop that the Patriots would be investigated by the league.

The league is going to turn up NOTHING on the Patriots.

Can someone tell me HOW IN THE WORLD this is not a slanderous action by the Indianapolis Colts?

All they'd have to do is inflate their balls with air from outside, and their balls would measure OK at half-time. Of course, for them to do that, they'd have to have discovered PV = nRT, which it sounds like they had not.

Yup.

This shows that the Colts went into that game with a PLAN.

Has anyone interviewed Andrew Luck to ask how he might feel about that strategy?

What were his numbers in that game, btw?

HOLY CRAP!!!!

12-33 for 126 yards 0TD 2 INT
