When it Comes to Deflate Gate, NFL Should Have Nothing Left to Say But 'Sorry'

This whole fiasco has been nothing short of a TV Soap Opera.
I agree that the Patriot Organisation accept nothing less than a full public apology and that will be there as a matter of record going forward.
The constant "leaks" to the media has been inexcusable.

ESPN disgusts me with their coverage of this stupid story. There are so many anti-patriots working for them that it disgusts me.

I've come to accept that when it comes to the Patriots, many media/fans simply cannot be objective and never will be able to. No matter if the Pats are exonerated, publicly apologized to and "cleared" - in the eyes of the public they will be forever "tainted cheaters". People see what they want and they WANT the Patriots to be dirty, rotten scoundrels who don't deserve the praise they rightfully have earned. No matter how many times you explain to these people what "spygate" was really about, how ridiculous it and deflategate was/is, they simply plug their ears, shut their eyes and scream "Cheaters!" at the top of their lungs. When the Pats are cleared of this deflate nonsense, it will simply be "another coverup" by Goodell and the league for his buddy Kraft. As if the ridiculously high punishment they got for "spygate" was just "sweeping it under the rug", a notion I've read and heard countless times. When it comes to these matters, as with most ridiculous matters in life, it comes down to one thing.... People, in general, suck. Unfortunately, that will most likely never change.

Luckily, the Pats are Superbowl Champions, so all of this garbage really doesn't bug me like it used to...

I think if BB had a better post game relationship with reporters, the story might be a bit different. But BB is a football genius. He's not a "I'll pander to the press with their dumb questions" type guy........One has to wonder how some of them got to be sports journalists in the first place.

I wouldn't have it any other way...just keep winning Bill !

"Apology NOT accepted!"

Goodell and Kensil need to be terminated and an extra high draft pick awarded to us is the only way to right the wrong.

In lieu of an apology, anyone associated with the NFL who accuses the Pats of cheating who
does not have any evidence will be heavily fined.

Can you imagine the outcry?

The best we can reasonably expect is an apology, and maybe a morsel or two of detail about what actually happened.

That's the BEST. In reality, it will likely be some mumbling bullcrap that leaves open whether the Patriots "cheated." At worst, they would say we actually did cheat, based only on the balls supposedly being under PSI even though they were not initially measured, and despite...physics, and fine us.

I'm hoping for best case....
