2/18/2015: Schefter Blows Up ESPN's Earlier Story

Why why why do Pats fans keep concerning themselves with ESPN. The network has made it blatantly clear that they will try to milk this story for whatever it is worth regardless of the contradictory reports. Unless you want to feel irritated, don't give that place any clicks.

it's 16 year old habit. i get all my information from espn. check all the box scores there too. and listen to majority of their podcasts.

i know exactly what they are. but that's not gonna make me to use other inferior websites. :D

My question is which report about psi is accurate, Mort's or Rapoport's? Secondly, Blandino has stated that no pre-game inflation levels were documented. As soon as that came to light, deflategate was neutralized in my eyes. If nobody knows where they started, who cares what Kensil has to say? He could be full of caca because he has an ax to grind seeing as how he has ties to the Jets.

Thirdly, how much can you trust the investigation being conducted by a league that allows known thieves to remain employed? I don't know for sure what'll happen to the Pats but the league is up fart creek and I love it.

this whole thing is the reason why we will win 2 more rings in next 3 years. revenge tour will be sweet

Schefter is the best.

Goodell's list of screw ups is getting longer and longer. He runs the NFL the same way his favorite team is run. Like a joke.I don't see how he can survive this.

If Goody the Jet does go, all the money and help from the mediots won't help his legacy. He'll go down as the most incompetent sports commissioner in history.

For those of you who are still worried about the Pats taking a hit, and are anxious to see this all come out, relax. Watch a few Pats victory videos again.

Being a Pats fan right now is like being a kid that gets to open late Christmas presents. The gifts keep coming.

Who can believe anything at this point...??

Fair enough. God speed and good luck, sir.

That's the thing. . . . Schefter never passed along Deflategate rumors before when it was Leakapalooza, so it's interesting that he's doing this now.

It's because he's credible, and he's credible because he takes this **** seriously. He carefully considers his sources and reports what he trusts. And that's why for a lot of people, me included, nothing's final until either he or an official source reports it.

ESPN finally speaks.....and as expected it was disappointing (including Adam S)

After giving close to five minutes to the Kelly Naqui OTL story, this clip was about a minute and a half, which basically had Schecter quickly repeating his fired league official story, and they spent the rest of the time spouting that we can't tell what that means and won't know anything until the Welles report comes out in a couple of months. Its up to Welles to determine who is guilty, and thus implying that the Pats haven't been vindicated.

So after a 5 minute clip that allow the reporter to speculate further Patriot wrong doing, they spent a mere minute plus to say, well this thing happened, but its way to early to speculate what it means, and we certainly don't know enough to be speculating on it.

If only they had operated under that principle with all other tidbits, leaks and rumors. F them.

Kelly Naqi's name rang a bell and I finally remembered why, anyone remember this?

she blew this one, but there she quoted Plaxico as saying he hadn't spoken to Strahan. So... Can't fault her, and can't see why he as so upset.

I want Kravitz to go down so hard for starting this whole f***ing thing and continuing to double down on it.

The report said that they have this on f**king tape so it should be pretty easy to figure out.
