If you watch from the very beginning Chris Rose introduces Brady as a 4x time SB Champion. Just over a minute later Marshall congratulates him on being a 3x SB Champion (1:10). It's intentional and Tom let's it go, but I think it was obvious he doesn't count that win over his Rams dynasty (of 1999).

He and God(damn) Roger should be tied together with cement boots on and cast over the side somewhere off the Vineyard. His hate will never subside. He knew damn well it was Brady's 4th title.

Probably still hurting from Willie McG tossing him around like a rag doll.. little b needs to get over it. Actually, screw it. I hope it rots at his soul for eternity, he deserves nothing less. Greatest Show on Turf beat by the scrappy Patriots - hahaha hurts doesn't it Marshall??

I can't stand Marshall Faulk's whininess over a false claim, but I think you're reading too much into a spur of the moment mispeak there. He kissed Brady's butt throughout that interview - - he just misspoke.

Was he possibly talking about 3 time SB MVP ? My problem with Faulk and Warner is, nobody has the balls, OR intelligence to say to them, what do you base your feelings of being cheated in SB36 on ? Because, all the morons (I include Faulk and Warner, and most of the media) that put an asterisk near the Pats SB Championships of 2001, 2003 and 2004, base their "Pat's cheating" mantra on the Pats getting caught in 2007. Yet what they were penalized for doing in 2007, was not illegal in 2001, 2003 & 2004. I just wish someone would ask them. Obviously most of the media WANTS Spygate to ruin the Pat's legacy, and are too simple minded to realize that 2007 had nothing to do with 2001-2004. I've shut up many an anti-Patriot fan with that simple fact. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize it.

As true as the topic probably is, I'm sure he misspoke and meant MVP.

Add me among those who are just sick and tired of the Pats being gracious winners, while all those around them are such sore losers. For ONCE, I'd like it if Tom had just slowly turned when he heard Faulks bitter remark. Stopped, and then slowly looked him up and down, and burned lasers into his cringing face with his eyes, and then just smiled, letting the moment drag on like a pregnant pause; before finally saying,

"Still a bit burnt about 2001, eh Marshall. That must have been a tough one to swallow, losing to such a big underdog like we were, especially on turf. (big smile here). That ring has always been my favorite.....Thanks"

Then he smiles again and turns his back on the little turd and graciously looks to the rest of panel leaving Faulk in a fetid puddle of his own flop sweat.

THAT's what I want to see every time one of the Rams losers try to slander the Pats. Willie and Heath should have put that little puke out of his misery years ago

His line from SB 36:

17 rushing attempts for 76 yards, 4 catches for 54 yards, no TD.

And then Matt Damon in the background holding a sign that say 'how about them apples'. Then BB slaps Warner across the head for not believing in evolution and Gronk bangs his wife.

Gross.

This is sad, Faulk can't just accept they lost one and be happy he walked away from the game with a ring. I bet a lot of former players would kill for a Superbowl win, let alone a chance to be in one. The only picture that comes to mind when I hear of him now is that of a bitter man with a grudge. It's like he's cos-playing as one of those jaded old actresses on the television soap Dynasty.

I am no Marshall Faulk fan, but I think his comment is in the context of Tom's winning his fourth. He is saying as a guy who has already won three superbowls take me through the emotion of what we saw when you won this one. We all saw him jump up in down with so much excitement. He is using the past tense because he is asking a question that is in the moment of him winning his 4th. Just my opinion.

So at end of this segman Faulk goes out of his way to tell Kraft how important he & Patriots are relevant for league etc etc etc was just blowin' smoke?! Kurt Warner must have been like Marshall seriously bro, what are you smokin?

Brady's too classy, but after he sat down and looked at that POS Faulk, he should have just sat and stared without responding to that envious, little POS after he asked him the first question.

That's really not a bad day.

Other than being an NFLN commentator with nothing to offer, what bugs me about Faulk is his round bald head and baby face. He just doesn't look like a real adult person. Seeing that head/face atop a suit and tie is unnerving.

Stupid thread IMO.

Faulk was talking about how a guy who has already won 3 SB's is reacting (going crazy) winning his 4th.

Maybe he meant 3x superbowl MVP?
