Totally agree. Here in Nova Scotia, we get the same weather you guys get... just one day later. And I've had more than my fill of this BS. Spring can't get here fast enough - but the win makes it bearable.

Man. I would love for some blizzards in philly. We have the cold but no snow so we still have to go to work. Argh. I miss living in Boston. Miss college life in Boston. Camp at home for a few days in the blizzard snuggled up and playing xbox all day.
We got the snowstorms ( though not as bad as Boston) last winter....

I am the complete opposite. I'll take the cold, the snow sucks.

We've gotten 84 inches of snow past month. I can't take much more shoveling..
You've gotten 84 inches of snow in the Azores? Is this a sign of the apocolypse?

Sunny and 93F here tomorrow... suckers :p. Patriots winning plus summer weather = delicious.

It was about 85 today in So. California, and while at Lowes today, the garden section was slammed with early spring business :) I would trade this weather for a nice snow storm though, we never get any here.
And yes, my year has started out very well due to a great season and an amazing win!
Shut up.

Weather can be rough up here. My neighbor, who's a 70 year old widow, had her house catch fire in the middle of Sat. blizzard. We sheltered her at my house until the York (Me.) Fire Dept took her to a family members residence. I'm looking out my window this morning thinking her pipes are probably frozen as her place was declared uninhabitable. Count your blessings people.

I'm sick of it. I have to go dig out my car and I have no idea where to put this crap...and more snow is coming tomorrow they say. In my 43 years on this planet, this is the first time that the thought of moving to Florida has crossed my mind. Thank the Football Gods the Pats won the Super Bowl. I have something to watch on these cold snowy days to put me in a good mood. :)

The win was panacea for a lot of us. I have not a lot of worries about the snow, the haters, ESPN and a whole lot of folks. I am chilling....
We won the Super Bowl with only one first rounder on Offense!
And I ask this question, which is better: going to the super and losing or not going to the super bowl at all?

Simply gaze upon this list and imagine yourself in a warmer land. That's right, ausbacker. Even with the ocean Sydney is a mere two spots above El Paso. I don't think I got past the "like San Diego" discussion. :)

And for some year round perspective, I believe the humor here captures the experience of West Texas living.

Which is why I bought 200lbs of melts in November but I'm still waiting to use them. Arghhh

Right now, the Wind Chill Factor is 27 Degrees on this part of the Yankee SeaCoast.

Add that to the Top Line of...ZERO...and it's currently 27 BELOW, baby!! :D

Of course it's FIFTY Below at Mount Washington, so I ain't *****in'!!

*So grateful for Modern Technology. The Wind is HOWLING out there, slamming against the window about 20 inches from my NOSE, yet here I huddle, able to comfortably admire it in Wonder.
Add 141 MPH wind gusts to that -50.

I'm going to Ft. Myers Beach for 24 days in exactly 528 hours. But, who's counting?
Major miscalculation: actually 282 hours. Even better...

Nope. I was including the current Wind Chill Factor. And Mount Washington gets a lot colder.

It was 65 a few days ago in Bozeman, Montana

worst ski season I can remember. Feel bad for people flying out here to ski Big Sky and paying a small fortune

Shot a few gophers on Valentines day. Normally that's a late April/May activity

Doesnt matter though. Every day is a great day as the Pats won
Is that a euphemism?

it does make it a tad easier..but this winter has been just brutal

Just got back for a week in NOLA and Mardi Gras, where people dance in the streets, dress as they want and many get drunk in some very moderate temperatures... was waiting for a bus one day there and some loudmouth woman who was upset because she had to wait to get to Wal Mart, was loudly exclaiming how she wished NOLA would get some snow.. I told her she could not handle the snow.

Locals were whining one morning because it was 42 degrees early, but warmed up to 70 degrees....
