Here in New England we are buried under the most snow in 20 years and third-heaviest snowfall total (so far) in the region's history ... bitterly cold below-zero temperatures, high winds, etc., etc. But as depressing as this might seem, winning the Super Bowl (two weeks ago tonight) still warms the spirit. :)

I can't imagine how much more miserable this all would be had the Patriots lost. Thanks for the morale booster guys, and for shutting up the haters!

I can't imagine it either...I mean, we WON and people are flocking here every day complaining about every little nit they can pick. It's like a certain segment is just waiting with their knives sharpened to scream "I TOLD YOU ALL IT WAS REAL BAD!!!" if the Pats don't repeat as champions.

I mean, Edelman had 14 catches in the game and it's been nonstop screaming about "Welker doesn't get any respect from you scumbag haters!!!!!!"...WTF is wrong with these people? Do they all have this pathological need to inflict misery on everyone else that doesn't share THEIR particular form of butthurt?

You can guarantee BB will make a few decisions soon that will lead to a thermonuclear meltdown on this board. The CL's spent so much time with their beaks zipped shut the last three months that they have a thousand warehouses filled with "Sky Falling!" bawk boxes just waiting to be opened.

It was about 85 today in So. California, and while at Lowes today, the garden section was slammed with early spring business :) I would trade this weather for a nice snow storm though, we never get any here.
And yes, my year has started out very well due to a great season and an amazing win!

And here in Nevada we have received 3 snow storms to put snow on the sierras and we will enter year 5 of a horrible drought. Remember, too much snow isn't nearly as bad as not much of it.

You said it, man.

Patriots have the best fan base in the NFL. Too bad a few rotten apples portray it online as one of the worst.

That might have been one of the more significant individual plays in Pats history ranking right up with the snow bowl kick, and the 2001 superbowl kick.

Because the Pats won, the truth about the shoddy sensationalism of deflategate is fast coming to light and its earning its well deserved place in the bowels of history. I even sense a slight shift in how "cameraplacegate" is being viewed across the nation as more and more fans start to understand what actually happened.

I fear the Pats were one yd away from likely being perceived as the "cheaters" who got what they deserved and the pressure to report deflategate as likely being true would have increased. And this doesn't begin to talk about the avalanche of negativity from our own mediots questioning EVERY decision, and demanding answers to what went wrong....again, that we would have had to endure for the next 7 months.

No Tune, we owe Malcom Butler and great debt. He saved an entire region and the broad Patriot Nation fan base from months of debilitating depression and angst. Though I have heard rumors that big Pharma has put a hit out on Butler since they blame him for costing them 100's of millions in depression medication sales. ;)

Personally i don't have a problem with snow, it's the -15 wind chill that i hate.
If i ever hit the lottery I'll be moving to Maui.

It was 65 a few days ago in Bozeman, Montana

worst ski season I can remember. Feel bad for people flying out here to ski Big Sky and paying a small fortune

Shot a few gophers on Valentines day. Normally that's a late April/May activity

Doesnt matter though. Every day is a great day as the Pats won

You, Chris in Sunnydale, and myself have it lucky! My brother is currently in Hartford and is trying to get a position with BCG in Downtown, Los Angeles. He wants to make the move pronto

I am the complete opposite. I'll take the cold, the snow sucks.

We've gotten 84 inches of snow past month. I can't take much more shoveling..

I won't ever complain about British weather again. I've seen the pictures from Boston. That last storm was really a mean one. Stay warm, folks!

Man. I would love for some blizzards in philly. We have the cold but no snow so we still have to go to work. Argh. I miss living in Boston. Miss college life in Boston. Camp at home for a few days in the blizzard snuggled up and playing xbox all day.

Right now, the Wind Chill Factor is 27 Degrees on this part of the Yankee SeaCoast.

Add that to the Top Line of...ZERO...and it's currently 27 BELOW, baby!! :D

Of course it's FIFTY Below at Mount Washington, so I ain't *****in'!!

*So grateful for Modern Technology. The Wind is HOWLING out there, slamming against the window about 20 inches from my NOSE, yet here I huddle, able to comfortably admire it in Wonder.

Wanna bet? LOL!

Tell them to come here. They can ski off of my roof...

I'm going to Ft. Myers Beach for 24 days in exactly 528 hours. But, who's counting?

Sunny and 93F here tomorrow... suckers :p.

Patriots winning plus summer weather = delicious.

They've partially made up the lost revenue on the northwest coast.

All the snow banks are stacked so high, it create an avalanche from yesterday snow. There's 80 inches for a whole winter, and there's 80 inches for a month period. It just too much snow.

But the Patriots win, so it all good.:D
