I've seen a lot of incorrect versions of the speech posted, and apparently the Inside the NFL excerpt was badly edited. The correct version, on Sound FX, is this:

It's our time.

We started seven, eight months ago, right? All for this moment, all for this moment.

It's about honor. It's about respect. We win this game, you're honored, your kids are honored, your families are honored.

Win on three...one, two, three, win.

This version is from http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films...469036/Super-Bowl-Sound-FX-Teams-get-amped-up at about 3:36 . The Inside the NFL version deleted "It's our time" but included the repeated "all for this moment."

To me, this is the greatest sports speech ever. Every word is perfect, essential, and the meaning is overwhelming in its power.

Moreover, it only could work at this exact moment in time, at this juncture of the Super Bowl with the mass insanity of DeflateGate.

It's a shame there's no audio at a more reliable site than nfl.com of the speech - NFL links are kind of ephemeral.

From the first time I heard this speech, and every time I've heard it since, the thought that always comes to my mind is that that sounds more like Julian Edelman's voice than Tom Brady's.

The video superimposes the audio over video of Brady, which leads people to believe (incorrectly, imo, though I could be wrong) that it's Brady's voice. If you listen closely, like I said, it sounds like Edelman to me, not Brady.

Peyton Manning's version of this speech:

It's about stats. It's about records. I perform well in this game, I'm honored, my stats are honored, my records are honored.

Win on three...one, two, three, win.

It's definitely Brady. 100%.

"Oh My God....Josh !!!! We Did It"...This from TB gave me chills...

OK, lol. It's Tom Brady. Firstly, it sounds exactly like him, if you've ever seen any other Sound FXs of Brady.

I'm sure Julian gives fine speeches but I am equally certain at his current age and situation in life the honor of everyone's families and children is not utmost in his mind.

Anybody who has heard Tom Brady shouting before a game knows that's his voice. Listen to a few miked up versions of him pregame running across the field screaming "Let's go!!!!" to the fans and it is patently obvious that that is his voice.

That being said, voice-wise (not meaning-wise), he sounds like Barney Fife/Jimmy Stewart when he gets all high pitched.

That speech brings a tear to my eye every time, I get so inspired by it. I love that he still feels he has something to prove, and he can draw on that wellspring and make others feel that they have something to prove too. That's pretty much the definition of a great leader.

Knute Rockne couldn't have said it better!

brady has that middle schooler's high pitch voice when he gets excited

When I first heard the speech I doubted it was him too. But on reflection -- yeah, it's not that different from his voice when he's yelling before the snap.

To me..it's very clearly Brady
