Good for him. Hope he can play close to the level he was at during mid season. He should not go out like he did. He should get to have a respectable performance to end on.

Good. I'm not ready for Peyton to retire. He's been a great adversary over the years.

Now just schedule our final game of the season against Denver so when we go 16-0 it'll be against them.

I hope this means one of the Thomas's leaves Denver

So Payton is back for the broncos and claiming to be able to play at an elite level. IMO there's huge questions on this guy after yet another post season collapse.

Thank God.

If he were only prepared to play at an insignificant level, I'd find that very silly, indeed.

This is Peyton's last gasp of air in the NFL. For better or worst, 2015 is most likely his last.

IMO

Denver will be 11-5 at best, and more likely 10-6. One and done in the playoffs.

I could see that happening.

I think they lose to Green Bay, Detroit, Pats, KC (at least once) and Baltimore. That's a 10-5 season.

That's assuming they beat the Steelers and Chargers (twice) which they might not.

He obviously realizes he's 2000 yards from the NFL career passing record and just has to claim it even if it means holding his team back another season. I have respect for him as a competitor but I hate that plays like he has to pad his stats and not for the team.

In Peyton's defense he collapsed at least a month before the playoffs begun this season.

It's crazy how much their pass blocking offensive line declined from 2013 to 2014.

Oh, I'm glad he announced he is ready to play at a significant level. How can he possibly know what injuries 2015 will bring? Did he know ahead of time that 2014 was going to be a bad year for him? Of course not. What a dumb thing to say.

Can we at least wait until he plays before disparaging the guy?

I don't think questioning how much he has left is disparaging especially in light of his poor end of season displays. It's not like people are saying Payton always sucked and is the white Jamarcus Russell or anything.
