Latest from Kravitz - back-pedaling passive-aggressive apology

What an absolute cave troll he is.

Here's what he's saying now:
I thought it was implied, quite strongly, that penalties should only be levied if the Patriots were found guilty of toying with the integrity of the game, but I failed to establish that clearly in those tweets and in my columns.

And this was Kravitz two weeks ago:
But he didn't answer the one elemental question that is at the bottom of this bizarre controversy: How is it that 11 of the Patriots' 12 footballs were deflated well below the NFL's minimum specifications?

Oh look, the bogus '11 of 12' report! But wait, facts are facts....
Will they get to the bottom of it? My guess is they won't. Everything is circumstantial at this point. The facts are the facts – 11 of 12 deflated by two PSI – but how it happened, why it happened, that's the tough part of this investigation. How do you pin it on Belichick, who has sounded mildly convincing in his last two press conferences? How do you pin it on Tom Brady, who looked as uncomfortable the other day as anybody has ever seen him? Ball boys? Ball girls? The Deflation Fairy?
There's no smoking gun here, which will make it very difficult for Commissioner Roger Goodell to rule on this issue.

Oh wait, those are his more levelheaded thoughts...here he is three days before that post:
It is very hard for me to believe — no, it's impossible for me to believe — that this was one large, cosmic accident. A deflated football, and we're talking about two pounds worth of deflation, gives the team using it a distinct advantage when it comes to throwing and catching, especially during a rainstorm. It's very hard for me to believe that some rogue ball boy, acting on his or her own, unilaterally decided to use a pressure gauge to independently take some of the air out of the ball.

There's only one way this could happen, and that's with Belichick's full knowledge and approval.

So they're guilty in his mind, right? There's no other way to interpret those comments...ok, Bob, what's your proposed penalty?
If Patriots owner Robert Kraft has an ounce of integrity, he will fire Bill Belichick immediately for toying with the integrity of the game for the second time in his otherwise magnificent career — the first issue being the SpyGate fiasco that earned Belichick and the team fines and a forfeited first-round draft choice.

If Roger Goodell has an ounce of integrity, and he's not spending all his time going to pre-game soirees at Kraft's mansion, he will not only fine Belichick and take away draft choices, but suspend the head coach for the upcoming Super Bowl.

Again: CAVE...TROLL.

Translation: I've been called out and it's impacting my life so I'd really appreciate it if the Patriots Mafia would call a cease fire.

Message to Bob: Request duly noted and with extreme prejudice denied.

Very few journalists amount to anything greater than tabloid self serving jerks. This applies to news as well as sports. It's near impossible to sift through the garbage to get anything that ressembles a fact!

Whats worse than Kravitz is our own local media people who attacked the integrity of the franchise, coach, and TFB. We should make them doubly accountable if as I believe the people involved are innocent.

And obviously, whoever had Kravitz's ear (Irsay) has quieted down. NFL probably told him to shut his mouth.

Ha ha ha...we should put together a little album of all these backtracks. When the league announces they have nothing, we can throw it back in their faces.

Hammer him. Tweet everyone with his story from today and this tweet https://twitter.com/bkravitz/status/557766880459759617

Fraud

The man is not entitled to play the "I am just a humble reporter reporting on the news leave me alone" card. He actively trolled Patriot fans and did everything he could to push the they cheated, they are lying rhetoric.

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 20
Pats fans: give up the fantasy. Your brilliant head coach is also a cheat. 11 of 12 balls deflated. Must be the ball boys fault right?

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 20
Who was responsible for that normally inflated 12th football. He will probably be fired.

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 22
Ok so how did those footballs magically deflate themselves? Suggestions?

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 22
The equipment guy is either gonna get fired or drive a new land rover.

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 22
He was charming enough but I don't believe Brady. Not in the least. He had to know.

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 21
Something new for New England fans to read: http://www.wthr.com/story/27901962/kravitz-pats-nfl-need-to-come-down-hard-on-belichick-for-deflategate…

Why twitter your Belichick should be fired article with "Something new for New England fans to read" unless you wanted to troll them?

Bob Kravitz @bkravitz · Jan 20
Again, for the hard-headed, I never accused Pats of using deflated balls. Reported there would be investigation. There is one. End of story.

Oooh, twitter users, you have your assignment. Spam this MFer into next year.

At one point he compares deflating footballs to aron hernandez, No Bob, the severity of deflating footballs isn't even comparable to what your drunken crackhead boss did.

In agreement with every pro-Pats poster on this thread. Kravitz has lost his journalistic credibility and he sees this story turning against him. His article today is feeble and full of holes..............

POS. But on a positive note. Why all of a sudden the backtrack. His source is telling him plead to the jury because your not going to like the verdict.

I signed up for Twitter just to spam this guy.

In ensuing tweets and a column or two, I wrote that if owner Robert Kraft had an ounce of integrity, Belichick would be bounced immediately, draft picks should be forfeited and the Pats should be fined. What I failed to do was make it abundantly clear, “IF the Patriots are found guilty of having tampered with the footballs…'' I failed to understand, at least at the time, that each tweet, taken by itself, is an independent organism, not a part of a continuing narrative.

I thought it was implied, quite strongly, that penalties should only be levied if the Patriots were found guilty of toying with the integrity of the game, but I failed to establish that clearly in those tweets and in my columns. Thus, it appeared I was calling for Belichick's head and other penalties before any investigation was completed. Clearly (or maybe not so clearly), I would never call for Aaron Hernandez to get a life sentence before he got his day in court, and I did not mean to suggest that Belichick and the Patriots should be penalized before an investigation was complete. But that's the way it came out, and for that, I apologize.

Weasel.

Edit: oops. Sorry, missed existing thread. Can someone please plug in the Merge-O-Matic? Thanks.
