Denver Broncos might not want Peyton Manning back

Undisputed greatest QB of all-time kicked out of his organization twice in five years.

You can tell the Colts management and fans think of Manning with a heavy heart and regret at the way he couldn't performed when it mattered. Johnny Unitas will always be their #1 unless Amdrew Luck passes him. Denver will be the same- Elway will always be #1, while Manning will be remembered as a stat man who crumbled when it mattered. I wonder how the Patriots fans and org will feel the day Tom leaves/retires.

They would be foolish to not get rid of him if he doesn't take a paycut. They will lose several young star playmakers with his current salary, no?

They need 2 QBs. Manning can play the regular season and the 2nd QB can play the post season. Won't matter anyways as a new QB won't change that they are too soft to win a SB.

So manning for regular season and tebow for playoffs. Perfect!

If Manning passes the physical, and shows that he's going to be able to make the throws, he'll be back. Peyton doesn't want to go out like he did last year, and the Broncos #2 option is Osweiler.

I could definitely see the Broncos hedging their bets, either by going QB high in the draft or signing a 'legit' QB and going with 3 for the season.

Hoyer is potentially available, and I'd take him over Sanchez every time. Hoyer's decision to return to the Browns isn't due for a bit, and he's getting a little frustrated with how things are going there. I can't say I blame him one bit.

Tim Tebow?

Well, if this is true, then it is a terrible way to say goodbye. You would think the FO could have given him a chance to retire. And that he would be smart enough to do it. I think this is just speculation.

This is jeopardizing my plans of flying to Denver and trolling them all game long. I mean I could still do it but its not the same if Manning isn't there.

They still have the salary cap violations and the taping of the 49ers practices.

There's still fun and games for the entire family to be had.

Wouldn't Living Bronco Logo and Kubaik have already discussed this when he was hired? You'd figure it would come up in the interview.

You're forgetting another good one:

Consider Mark Schlereth, who spent six seasons as a Denver Broncos offensive lineman, protecting quarterback John Elway en route to two Super Bowl victories. In a 1998 playoff game at Kansas City, Schlereth and his fellow linemen coated their arms and the backs of their jerseys in Vaseline. The Chiefs' defenders couldn't grab onto the slimy Broncos and quickly complained to officials. It was quite a scene, Schlereth recalls, as officials used towels on the sidelines to wipe down the oily visitors in a game Denver would ultimately win, 14-10, on its way to a Super Bowl triumph.

"Did I grease up my jersey, and use sticky substances on my gloves? You're damn right," Schlereth said recently. "What you call cheating is a fine line. It's an interesting line. What we did, in the locker room, is called being creative. Certain cheating is snickered at, or applauded."

This is also another fun note for 'deflategate'.

No way Elway has the stones to not bring the mutt back.
Manning will be there in 2015 for his "Shower me with Praise" tour.

Welker might retire too according to rumors.

I hope for Wes that he retires.
It may be 2 years too late for him I fear.
NFW as a multi-millionaire I'd jeopardize my cerebral health for $12M or any #.
