Boom!!! In 3AM Saturday Morning Tweet Jerry Rice Falls on His Sword

Your time is gonna come

Aikman and Haley both won Super Bowls under Jimmy Johnson, who has admitted to taping signals and stealing signals for over a decade, starting as a scout with the Chiefs. Johnson also told us Howard Mudd was the best at stealing signals. Mudd would win a Super Bowl with the Colts, so **** you Jim Irsay again.

As Jerry Rice would say, everyone's doing it. But somehow it's only news when we do it.

Can someone please tell Volin to take a flying leap off a large cliff into a pit of alligators, razorblades and lemon juice?

Yes, we will. However, the queue is quite long at the moment, you understand, so it might be a while before his turn is up. We're still rounding people up at the moment. :D

Wait, wait, does everyone mean to tell me that cheating is ok as long as you are a bad team? Huh? Really? Have we regressed that much as a society?

I dont think that is something we want to tell the children.

Has the press made a federal case of it yet? I may have not seen this.

No, but they never will. It happened under Tags, and he was savvy enough to underplay that stuff, so it's always going to be "old news". Goodell as commissioner instead of Tags is the reason that Cameraplacementgate got so overblown. Had Goodell not been such an asshat, Cameraplacementgate would have been "old news" long ago.

Hahahaha that horseface prick Shannon Sharpe took to twitter and was asked about jerry rice saying everyone took stickum. He replied 'Jerry speaks for himself, he doesn't speak for me'.

Grab the popcorn boys it's starting to get good. Hahahaa

Hahahaha that horseface prick Shannon Sharpe took to twitter and was asked about jerry rice saying everyone took stickum. He replied 'Stickum is for armatures! We manipulated the salary cap and won SBs because of it. Yeah me!!!

Now where is my bag of oats?

Just another day as a Bronco

Here's some fun stuff, for those who may have missed it:

When Marty Schottenheimer coached the Cleveland Browns in the late 1980s, he routinely sent a scout to watch the signals opposing teams used to relay messages from coaches to players. When the scout returned, Schottenheimer's staff would watch the game film and match the signals to the plays that followed.

Edwards said the same is true today. It's common for coaches to watch standard game tapes (which include shots from the press box and end zone angles), sideline tapes (which usually wind up on highlight shows and include footage of players and coaches talking on the sidelines) and even the television shows of opposing coaches for tips.

These men then watch the footage with the same scrutiny FBI agents reserve for reviewing a wiretap recording.

"We want to hear what's being said in case you hear an audible or a [defensive] check," Edwards said. "Coaches have a saying: "Anything you say can and will be used against you.'"

Sounds kind of familiar, doesn't it? But wait. There's more...

In 1998, the NFL fined Broncos coach Mike Shanahan $15,000 for failing to list quarterback John Elway on the Denver injury report despite the fact that Elway had ribs so sore they eventually prevented him from starting that week's game (Shanahan responded by listing 22 players on the next week's report, 20 of whom were labeled "probable").

Even Edwards admits he found his way around at least one rule in his playing days. When the NFL outlawed Stickum after the 1980 season, Edwards continued to dab a small amount on the inside of his cleats, just below his ankles. Whenever he faced obvious passing downs, he'd reach down and rub some on his fingers.

Edwards is Herm Edwards, btw.

I cheated, we cheated you cheated, we all cheated!!!!!!!!

Falling on your sword improperly can cause even worse pain than what you were trying to avoid: see Jerry Rice.

Bahahahaha Sharpe tweeted 'forgive him he played 20 years and took alot of shots to the head'

You gotta have your own bounty program or you just aint cheating right.""

Exactly. Nobody gives a damn that the Panthers 'cheated' by warming up cold game balls, because the Panthers were a sub .500 team in 2014. The Patriots, on the other hand are the latest NFL equivalent of the New York Yankees, and everything involving the franchise is news.

Remember how ridiculously out of proportion the response was when Gronk and that porn skank were posing for pictures with her in his shirt? As BB says, it is what it is.

How can you call the Panthers a sub .500 team? They won the NFCS!

Ooops, nevermind, looks like we were both right.

Not only did the Patriots win their 4th super bowl, I believe we are witnessing an incredible teachable moment. Thanks to Jerry Rice et al. the shear hypocrisy and idiocy of the media is on full display for the world to see.

The Official Petition to Admonish Jerry Rice for Cheating

If you care about about the NFL and preserving the integrity of the game, please view and sign this petition to admonish Jerry Rice for admittedly cheating by using a stick-um substance on his hands/gloves to give him and his team a competitive advantage against their opponents. The goal of this petition is to expose hypocrisy and media sensationalism through turn about is fair play

FYI - for those keeping scoring at home the petition to get the Patriots removed from the Super Bowl got 40,000 signatures.

Took about 8 seconds to sign. Every Pats' fan should be signing this, after what that fake/fraud said. We KNOW Rice cheated. It's also becoming quite clear that Brady did not. This is beautiful!

It would not surprise me if a boat load of fans filed a class act suit against the NFL because of all the BS that has happened over the years with the cheating. All the NFL packages and tickets and merchandise.

Suits like this (no matter how frivolous) do happen.
