Should BB sue the Today Show?

Right. We believe you.

People a bit sensitive? :) Yeah, I can understand after all that's happened the last few weeks. Them making this a story was dumb and even the panel acknowledged it was. Move along, nothing to see here in my opinion.

Don't worry karma has come back around.

Now Brian Williams, NBC's lead news anchor, the one who perpetuated the Deflategate scandal as the lead story for two nights, then buried the Pats Super Bowl win to the last story, is now being accused of lying and has been taken off air.

Karma folks.

A father's expression of love for a daughter is a "scandal"? o_O

I thought this was the land of "Family Values"??

Oh, wait. I forgot. It's only a scandal if it's the Patriots.

Suing is a bit over the top, but it should cause any intelligent adult question why they are watching that show.

...
I stopped watching the morning shows so long ago that I can't remember.

Sue?

Only if you can sue the media for inanity and stupidity, but if that were the case the courts would never have anything else on their dockets.

Let this one go, folks. This is the dumb talking the dumber trying to establish who is dumbest.

This makes me sad man. People take things out of context. I think it is absolutely pathetic for everyone to pick anything about this team apart. I mean why? What is the point? He loves his daughter (and some people who read that last statement would read too much into that....like juveniles).

I just don't get why people have so much hate for this team, it goes well into personal attacks.

It really makes me both sad and enrages me that people take things way out of context. In the end when you look back on their life...is this how they really want to live? You have one kick at the can in life and they choose to try and smear and propagate hate any way possible?

Is there not another story NBC could have spent that time on, inner city problems, health improvement suggestions, positive stories of support for people that should be in the media...instead they focus on this just to try to drag this team and all their accomplishments through their own 'moral' mud...

Decisions like the one to give this air time make me question how the people that made this decision chose to live their lives. What a pathetic excuse of people and their organization.

Be better...

Media is scum. I keep saying.
I respect Saul Goodman lawyers more than media people.
Not all media is scum. I think the "scum factor" in sports is exacerbated by ex-players entering broadcast media with no journalistic background. They lack objectivity. Yes, you've got jerks like Borges, Florio, Mortenson, Shaughnessy, Silver, etc. who are lamentable. But at least there are others we can reasonably rely upon (Reiss, Price, Chatham, Gresh, Bruschi, Schefter and others).

He'd have made the catch, if he hadn't been under heavy mortar fire from Al Qaeda at the time.
Who is Al Qaeda? Is he under suspension because of this?

No. Rodger Goodell is still weeks away from claiming to have the right to punish Al Qaeda.
Perhaps we'll see another investigation by R. Stokoe Goodell and his henchmen/yesmen "of utmost integrity."
