Boom!!! In 3AM Saturday Morning Tweet Jerry Rice Falls on His Sword

Do you have the Chargers 60's era juicing included in your list?

NFL radio has been killing it, they;ve been calling out Rice and anyone else about the pats cheating when over the years every team has had its own little bit of cheating. Said rice can't say he cheated a little, ig he wants to do that the 49s sbs are tainted, so aren't the broncos for manipulating the cap. right now they have b volin on talking about resigning revis.

Can someone please tell Volin to take a flying leap off a large cliff into a pit of alligators, razorblades and lemon juice?

Wow. Jerry Rice getting killed right now. Loving this.
Lmfaoooo I am loving it too. The best part is it's literally because of us patriots fans this has even been brought up. I was on the Niners board earlier and saw they were even bashing him. Hahahaha bet he regrets fu**** with the Pats

I am kinda sad about this in a way. I think Jerry Rice using stickum is really not a big deal on its own, but he has turned it into a big deal because of his comments about the Patriots. It should be a non-story, but so should Deflategate. Rice really only has himself to blame for getting on his high horse when he has his own admissions of cheating in the past, but it is sad that one of the greatest players in history will tarnish his own reputation because of his own arrogance.

Not only has he not backed off from his comments about the Patriots in light of the stickum stuff. He is trying to sell that the Pats cheated to get an edge while he cheated to level the playing field because everyone else was doing it. That is sorta like Barry Bonds claiming he took roids because everyone else did and he just didn't want to have an unfair advantage.

I won't look at Rice as a cheater going forward. But I will look at him as a hypocrite and a small person. I will call his achievements tainted not because I think they are, but I am holding him to the same standard that he holds Tom Brady and the Patriots to.

Did Rice cheating rob Boomer and the Bengals out of a SB? How many catches did Rice make on that final drive?

Also, I'm seeing ESPN is silent on the matter...I wonder why that is?

No writer with his own talk show, tv show, or anyone planning to get their own show will cross Rice.

He's also a media member that many love to have on their programs, why would anyone burn that bridge? The media members care about getting ahead, not integrity. Rice admitting to cheating will be swept under the rug.

That's exactly why all of this is a good thing, Rob. Bashing this over Jerry Rice's head, and bashing Jimmy Johnson's own admission of video taping signals over Aikman's, is going to exonerate the Patriots when everyone sees how stupid calling the Patriots "cheaters" is.

Our complaints about Spybabies is them using their power in the media to turn nothing into a major cheating scandal. So we should all be turning the Cowboys and Niner nothings into major cheating scandals, which they are if we use the bar set for the Patriots.

After the smoke is cleared from going scorched earth on all of these hypocrites, the Patriots legacy comes out cleaner on the other side, which is what it deserves

And there are some here on this website who feel we should just "let it all go".

Go and read some of his Deflategate tweets.

Curran sums it up

Why is this not on ESPN?

They went out of their way to disrespect the Pats and "inflate" the DeflateGate story to the fullest extent possible, yet they're refusing to post this story on their main site.

I lost a little bit of respect for Mike Reiss after he wrote that article criticizing the Pats when the "scandal" broke based on pure speculation, but he since apologized and now he's fully won back my support after being the only man with balls to report this story on "The World Wide Leader of Sports".

Because Rice made those comments on some ESPN piece about gloves. If they go after Rice for this no player would ever trust them to do interviews in fear that whatever they say may come back to them.

Who cares about ESPN. Rice has been exposed. All the other major media outlets are talking about it including NFL Network Radio.

That's very hypocritical, to the point where Kraft should bar any Pats player from speaking or appearing on their programming.

And that's Rice's fault, not ESPNs that they caught him in a cheating lie. It's their duty to report the news, not hide behind it.

What comes around, goes around. Rice is getting his, the Colts will soon get theirs, and we have a forth Super Bowl win and get to sit back and laugh as our enemies crumble due to their own stupidity.

The law of unintended consequences.

In their rush like rabid dogs, the media and the jealous haters are bringing everyone else's skeletons out of their closets. Apparently, the narrative that the Patriots are dirty cheatin' scum while everyone and everything else was pure and on the level was not quite the "truth" that they thought it was.
I've been saying this for years. Hey Aikman, we're coming for ya! Ha Ha!!!

I've been saying the same thing. Every pats player should boycott that stupid network
