Some of the posts within this thread are ridiculous.
First, Vince Wilfork and the New England Patriots negotiated a new deal in 2014. Vince Wilfork has no incentive whatsoever to renegotiate since Vince Wilfork fulfilled his end of the bargain.

Second, the New England Patriots expended a first round draft pick in 2014 on a defensive tackle. If anything, defensive end is a higher priority than defensive tackle, since one cannot expect Rob Ninkovich to lead all defensive ends in snaps played for a second consecutive season and remain effective at the age of 31.
