What do we tell the children?
That Jerry Rice is a two faced, admitted cheater hypocrite who publicly judged an organization before the facts are out.

Actually if I recall correctly, the stickum does get on the ball but it makes it harder to throw because the ball does not release cleanly . I remember Plunkett or whoever the Raider QB was at the time saying this back when Lester Hayes would coat ... Literally...his entire body and uniform with the stuff.Wouldn't stickum from the receiver's gloves rub off on the football with every catch and make it progressively stickier and easier for the quarterback to grip? To say nothing of how many footballs Jerry caught for Montana.
Sometimes when you throw stones, one slips out of your hand and breaks several of the glass walls in your own house.
Note: For the record I consider stickum to be a non-issue just as I consider deflated footballs to be a non-issue. But the hypocrisy is deliciously amusing.
Can you imagine the public reaction if Troy Brown admitted that he used stickum during Brady's first few years? The internet would explode, it would be the lead story on every news broadcast in the world, and there would be hordes of angry people standing outside Gillette Stadium demanding that the Patriots return their Lombardis.

Which of course raises the Qs....where did he get it from and when and how did he apply it?He's a HOF WR who played 20 years in the NFL.
The league banished the use of stickum 4 years before his rookie year.
31 years later, he now has done some "research" and has now 'learned' of this.
Gee, ya learn something every day........
He should be reminded and HOUNDED for the rest of his life for what he proclaimed about the Patriots.
I have been saying it here for weeks. Too many attacks on the pats is not going to work.I knew whenever someone on some sports channel said they want to be careful on this cause they are about to open up a whole can of worms...seems like it's too late...
Note its on his helmet....hey someone check Tyree's hat!.....That's a little "re-dic-ulous".
