Marshawn Lynch will bring Pete Carrolls house of cards down.

In the sideline video, it dawns on Petey that Lynch has a single-digit IQ and has NO idea was Carroll is talking about. He doesn't know what a 1 technique is. Or a LB scrape. Hell, I doubt he's smart enough to know which one is the tackle.

Carroll walks away laughing because he realizes he might as well be trying to explain NFL blocking schemes to a cow.

It would have been better for the seahawks if Pete enabled him by giving him the ball more. Lynch is frustrated and has everyone reason to be frustrated.
Last I checked it was a team sport with the head coach in authority. If Lynch is "frustrated" and thinks the solution is to show up his coach on international television, he's in the wrong line of work.

Lynch is an idiot who's too stupid to realize his own pompous ignorance. Just another talented but petulant Seahawk.

....and BB ran TG out of town for the same rubbish. If Petey was empowered here he would have done the same.

2 BCS Titles back your assertion...but since 2012 a 41-13 record, 3 straight playoff appearances, two Super Bowls w/one title and the #1 defense in the NFL don't.

All this while hitting a jackpot in the draft. If you look at the years since then, it already looks like those early draft successes were outliers. Lets see if he can stay as successful w/o key players on rookie contracts and the depth those contracts provide.

Anyone can be successful for a few years given the right circumstances. Consistency over multiple drafts is considerably more difficult.

Let me get this straight, you dislike Lynch because of his attitude towards the media, but you like BB??

BB actually gives in-depth and articulate responses when asked a proper question.

I am at the point where I can almost predict whether he'll brush off the question with a classic remark or give a quality answer - it's all on the reporters not to ask stupid stuff.

Yup. That sardonic smile to Carroll after the interception, Carroll has lost him. Wait and see.

Wow ..... I just watched it & I couldn't believe the grin on his face after the interception as he passed Carroll.

The look on Carrolls face after he walked by now shed's light on why Buffalo gave him away for a 4th round pick.

umm ummm Marshawn, I know you're busy...and I'm sorry to bother you...but do you have a minute? I can always come back at another time. But, the hole on the left..... STFU , I just read it ! Get out of my face number 12

I've got a good friend who happens to be a 12'er living in Washington who says the odds are very good Beast Mode will hang 'em up and walk away from the game. If he does it on his own terms, good on him, I guess.

But I also agree with the assessment that this loss is going to linger with them for a LONG time and they're not equipped emotionally to stay together and bounce back from it, Russell Wilson's leadership chops notwithstanding. #24 is a big part of that.

I wish I had actually written this in my OP. This is exactly how I felt watching his response to this coach. Show respect, be a professional. I wish someone has Pete's reaction this his smile. It is on one of the many sounds of the game. You can see Pete give him a death stare and Lynch goes ahead and puts his helmet on.

That smile after the INT was disgusting. I'd be furious if I were a Seattle fan. He was pretty much laughing. Awful. It's like Seattle and Lynch are two entities and it can't be a healthy dynamic going forward.

You never laughed/smiled before when you were in complete disbelief of something that just happened? Like a sarcastic disgusted kind of laugh/smile? I've done that before plenty of times. I think people are reading too much into this. People react different ways to certain situations. Doesn't mean they don't care.

So true. Especially now that he has to draft near the end of each round.

The dude is immature. A bunch of them on that team are.
It is just awesome that we beat them in the Super Bowl because now they have to answer questions listen to people questioning them and the coaching staff. They are a very good team but it would not surprise me to see them implode after this Super Bowl loss. I hope they crash and burn!

BINGO!

Tom Brady was once filmed getting into it with Bill O'Brien after Brady threw a bad pick. Does that mean Brady does not like authority and will not accept responsibility for his actions? No, it's something that happens in the game.

Blount was a headache in Oregon, was arrested for marijuana possession earlier this season, and left the Steelers game early, yet he's been a model Patriot. Randy Moss and Corey Dillon were very particular and nothing short of being headcases, but their talent came through in a big way for the Patriots. Then we have Wes Welker who was a model Patriot until he overvalued himself and burned bridges with Belichick with his comments that were completely uncalled for.

My point is that we should judge players by how they perform on the field. Yes, we should find out about their character, but many players who have character issues have played with the Patriots and found success and at the same time behaved while they were with this team.

Marshawn Lynch is a fantastic smart player who has helped build that Seahawks brand. His stance against the media is fantastic and I appreciate him telling the NFL that he will speak to people on his own terms, not their terms. I enjoyed Marshawn giving the media the middle finger when he went on Conan with Gronk and produced one of the most highly entertaining segments of the past couple of years. I would be ecstatic if Marshawn one day was part of the Patriots team.

In Lynch's defense, and a rare reply to the media, when asked what he thought of the final pass and the fact he did not carry the ball on the way out of the stadium, he replied "It's a team sport." Given the reports of other Seachickens ripping the offensive play call and coaching, he actually backed the team.

I don't like his act with the media, but I would not claim to know what that guy is thinking with regard to the team. What is clear is that he has been the offense for this run, and the Hawks would be a lesser team if he leaves. The defense has fallen down a peg due to the reduced depth, and it will need more offensive support.

Pete's a knowledgeable coach and a pretty good evaluator of talent. Upon his first arrival to a team, his rah-rah pom-pom style can energize players to buy into his shtick. There may even be success for a while. Then, eventually, his personality works against him. First it is risable, then tedious, then annoying, then aggravating, then insufferable; like Chinese water torture - drip, drip, drip. Players start tuning him out. Once that happens they become unreceptive to his coaching and it no longer matters how knowledgeable he is, he's lost them.

Those of us who witnessed Pete's tenure here recognized that look on Lynch's face immediately. He's the first. If they have a start like the Pats did this year there will be more. Then Pete's got to get ahead of it and clean them out or it becomes an avalanche and he's done in Seattle.

I think Pete can be a great coach when everything is going right, but I think he will be a disaster if there is dissension in the locker room. That is why they dumped Percy Harvin so quickly.

Pete's style of letting the inmates run the asylum is what did him in here. It seems like it is a growing concern in Seattle because there looks to be some division in the locker room now and many of the players are uncontrollable already when things are good. Guys like Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, and Doug Baldwin all say and do whatever they want without any reprimand.

Albert Breer said the players do not like Darrell Beville and prefer Tom Cable. If they turn on their OC next season, this team could implode.

Carroll is a great coach for kids. Men? Not so much.

He was chased out of this town in disgrace for being soft and completely losing the respect of the team.

I don't think you can make any judgement on their relationship based upon this short clip.

With that said, I do think that Pete's coaching method that allows people to "think independently" may face a tough test from this game.

Immaturity leads to dissolution.

I don't fully agree. However his smiling after the INT was a pretty odd sign. His reaction to the media wasn't bad though. He actually talked a bit, and after being asked about whether they should've ran it, he responded with "it's a team game" or something similar along those lines.

I'm sorry but Lynch has a crappy attitude, he would not last a second under BB.

Yeah, BB hates players who are great at their jobs, loved by their teammates, and don't like talking to the media.
