Edelman Bandwagon

Used to be people on this board called him "Edelbinky".

If we let him walk last offseason..i don't think we win this SB or have the season we did with just gronk..DA..lafell..tyms..wright ect

He is our heartbeat..there is no question about it.

Before this year i always said..he's a good player...always hurt..this year he proved just how dam tough he is. Glad he is a Patriot and i will be buying his jersey this summer (get a new jersey every summer)

I loved Edelman from day 1, but I was definitely one of the skeptics at the thought of flat-out replacing Welker with Edelman (or the Edelman/Amendola duo). I loved his fight, he always tried for those extra yards, even when it meant taking a beating. I thought he could be a good receiver, but I was worried he wouldn't ever be able to put together a full season though due to his playing style and the fact that he had nagging injuries here and there early on. I couldn't be happier that he has proven to be able to take the beatings, stay healthy, and make us completely forget about Welker.

Exactly! Jan 10 2010 I believe we saw shades of greatness. What a **** game that was overall though.
6 44 7.3 2 24 JE stats that day. Nothing spectacular but he was the only one doing anything.

he and Faulk practically willed the team to keep fighting, to the extent it did.

I remember people on here being down on him. If I remember correctly, some even suggested him not making the team (after year two maybe).....

He is a big deal. I don't think anyone thought he would ascend to the level he is at today - even those of us who thought he was gonna be a winner.

I'm pretty sure there were some people here that didn't think he was going to make the team during 2013 TC ...

Been on the wagon for years. Love everything about him. The Post SB videos and the Parade have only proved to raise my love for him.

C'mon now guys. It's perfectly fine to update your position. People see different things and some people may not have seen nor projected what Edelman would become. If you did so, congratulations to you, if not, you should be on the bandwagon now.

FTR, I couldn't understand why Butler was getting as many snaps as he was during the season. I thought his preseason was nice but not necessarily good enough to replace Dennard or Ryan. Fastforward to the Super Bowl and I am thankful Bill Belichick, Matt Patricia, Josh Boyer and the scouts are good at their jobs.

Well, i think Mike Reiss is alone in the Greg Salas´ bandwagon.

I remember showing the girl I was dating an interview of him and telling her about how he's a former qb and going to have to make it as a wr. She said, "he's cute."

You weren't dating a girl named Sabrina then, were you??

I remember when Edelman was new and shiny, trying to fill Welker's shoes. It seemed he was learning from Wes, but he just wasn't as crisp.

Minitron's come a really long way since then. The guy FIGHTS for everything.... jumping into piles on fumbles or ints... *angry* to win. Edeldude has clawed his way to become one of my all-time all-Patriot players... fantastic baller.

Can someone re-post the GIF of Edelman after Brady's first INT? You watch what he did on that play and all you can say is, "THAT is a football player."

Too bad the guy broke his arm falling after Edelman clocked him, but it was a potential TD saving tackle. Edelman should have gotten SB MVP imo.

Edelman brings that fire from the WR position that I've only seen elsewhere in Steve Smith.

He gets open so quick.
