It is close for me.

Who do yall think is the best in the League.

Is Seattle just a system defense with overrated players?

Now the Question of the Stars.

Revis vs Sherman im talking purely on the Field sit Shermans ignorance at times aside.

I think Revis is a better overall Corner than Sherman but I think Sherman has better Ball.

But Revis is better man to man.

Who do yall think has the best Secondary in the NFL and who is better Revis for Sherman?

Hmmm...

Sherman < Revis
Maxwell > Browner (not by much, both have their limitations)
Lane < Arrington
Thomas > McCourty
Chancellor > Chung

In all, I would say that Seattle's secondary is better only because both safeties are better. The Pats had the better coaching and also had the better offensive weapons. But it's not like it's a landslide in favor of Seattle. I look at it in terms of 1a and 1b, personally.

Maxwell is more of a Corner Browner is a enforcer type.

One thing i would say about the Seahawks they make dudes pay for catching the ball

Seattle's three best db's were playing with injuries. I wouldn't judge them solely off of Sunday Night. Then, their nickel gets hurt early in the game

im talking about over the whole season

CB depth wise NE is better. It was a big difference in the game. Simon got beat. Butler did not, even on that circus catch he wasn't beat, Kearse just got a lucky bounce.

Kept intact and healthy Logan Ryan is the #6 CB coming into training camp.

If Bill wants another SB he needs to keep that CB corp together.

True That

Seattle, without question

I still think seattle has a better secondary. To be honest I never once thought the patriots secondary was on seattles level. They have their moments and I think they are good but not seattle good.

Ours will go back to being terrible if we lose revis

No they pats will try to get Chris harris or someone wont be as good but it will be good.

The Pats will also be able to to get another top player for the Defense but Revis must be signed back but for 250 M we cant do it.

I think i would put McCourty over Thomas, but obviously the Pats secondary would need to retain Revis and McCourty

not sure who you think is available at CB. Harris just signed a long term deal in Denver. I dont see any CB's anywhere close to the level of a revis. We will not over pay for a middle of the pack guy, which is what will be required to get one of these guys. Gotta keep revis. Only fear is some team offering a 4-80 or 5-100 deal, which we would not match.

New England's got the edge at corner. Seattle's got the edge at safety. Overall I give the nod to Seattle because their safety tandem is, by far and away, the best in the league, and elite safeties are just so damn rare in today's NFL.

Bro I love Dev but Earl Thomas is flat out better.

He makes more plays and he hits if the Seahawks called bill and said We will trade you Earl thomas for Mccourty He do it in a heartbeat

I'd give us the slight edge in CB, but Seattle safeties are much better than ours...

We have way more depth though.

I think that Thomas gets overrated because he makes big hits, everyone gushes about his physicality but forgets that he can struggle in pass defense.

Seattle, they went up against a far better offense.

I think you are confusing Thomas and Chancellor. Thomas is the best pass defending safety in the league but isn't a great tackler.
