Chargers were busted using a sticky adhesive on footballs during games a few years ago.
That sounds like cheating, but not the Pats, so nobody cares.

Reaction to Charles Haley's comments today? He's probably sticking up for Montana, but to questions someone's character without all the facts is unfair. It also seems ESPN in generally is quick to put these up as they continue to feed the machine.

Mike, Why does ESPN post stories like "Charles Haley thinks Brady cheated" on the Patriots website? Do they really think Patriots fans want to read it? If they posted it on a Seahawks or Colts page maybe, but even then, who cares what an old has been with no information but a lot of opinions thinks? Of course there have been many others, this was just the latest. News stories that deliver actual information are of course always welcome.

I don't know the answer to that question, Joe. I can only control the things that have my name on it. The thing I always stress is that anyone can have an opinion, but it takes work to have an informed opinion. Speaking for myself, when I'm curious about a topic, I usually try to find those I believe fall into the "informed opinion" category. In this case, Charles Haley doesn't qualify for me.

When the Haley comments came up on NFL Insiders just now an anonymous AFC head coach told them that Brady definitely did this because he didn't deny it & the Patriots have been doing this for years because reasons (nothing to back up these claims just more shoddy reporting).....The envy is strong SMH

I was also going to point out that Jimmy Johnson is on record that he taped other teams signals. In addition, Haley played for at least one of those Cowboy's teams that were Super Bowl champions. I guess he just said one of his rings is tainted............

It's been almost four days since the Super Bowl. I'm surprised it took this long for the maggots to start crawling out and ESPN to publish their opinions as their top story.

Brady is the best ever for the simple reason that he has more haters and jealous losers on his jock than any quarterback in NFL history.
