Seattle has the best defense of all time

Russell Wilson is "special"… so very very special

Russel Wilson/Marshawn Lynch read option is unstoppable. New era of QB, Brady pocket passing is outdated.

Seahawks are the new dynasty with back to back SB's. Will surpass New England as the new dynasty. Passing of the guard from Brady to Wilson.

Pete Carroll is the best coach right now. Seahawks are "special"

Genius play call to trick New England by passing for that Touchdown when our defense was lined up to stop the run. It's funny how when something works its a genius decision… and when it doesn't work (due to good coaching/preparation by New England, and an amazing play by Butler) then it's the WORST CALL EVER.

New England is cursed by miracle catches (Jermaine Kearse). New England is cursed in Arizonas stadium.

Brady/Belichick can't win without spy gate and deflated footballs. You know there wouldve been one or two people who wouldve said this. In fact prostitute solicitor/assaulter Warren Sapp said something about this the morning of the SuperBowl on NFLNetwork.

Brady chokes in big games. Instead of talking about his 4 TDs and game winning drives in the 4th qtr, they would be talking about his 2 INT's.

Brady is .500 in SuperBowls. Not the best ever. Not even close. End of discussion.

Belichick made the worst decision ever by not calling a time out. Worst clock management ever by leaving time for Seattle, and then not calling timeouts. The media wouldve been all over this, taking Belichick bashing to a new high.

Isn't it funny how one play changes history and legacies?!

A game winning INT in the SuperBowl is amazing. But to make it on the freaking goal line was just unbelievable.

Thank you Butler…. for re-writing the stories that everyone in the media was dying to write.

At 5'10", 180 lbs, Malcolm absolutely blew up 6'2" 215lb Lockette.

There are approximately 27 unbelievable points about that play. That pic very clearly illustrates one of them.

The kid may have worked at Popeyes, but what he did in the Super Bowl was like the ending of a Popeye cartoon.

I don't look at it as one play. Brady got us the go-ahead touchdown and if it wasn't for Kearse's freak catch, the last-second heroics would not have been needed. The Pats were the better team and outplayed them.

Who cares about what ifs? We can play this game all day 1000 times. The world would have cheered that the evil, cheating Pats lost.

"If I did not just see what I thought I saw, I would never in a billion years believe that Tom Brady could drive his team 80 yards in just 20 seconds to win Super Bowl 49! That was the most amazing thing ever shown on live television. Just when you thought the Seahawks had taken the championship with that lucky touchdown pass to Ricardo Lockette that should have been intercepted by Malcolm Butler. Amazing!"

Or something like that.

Brady is in decline

They hate their coach

Agreed.

However it is fascinating to consider that this one play solidified legacies but if it were not made we would likely be battered and the deflate hate stuff would continue to be shoved in our face despite Tom's fourth quarter comeback. Thank god. I have re watched the game and held my breath still despite knowing what happen.

I can't believe Brady hit Gronk over the top with no time remaining.

Cousins, There is something lost in this whole SB thing. The Media makes everyone believe the Hawks dominated....What? A couple throws to a kid who had never caught an NFL pass (great for that kid though. Kudos) and a Pats field goal instead of an INT in the first half and the game is played different.

The Media believe the Pats were lucky....Lucky????? The Kearse pass was the most lucky play of the game or not a miracle completion, Wilson is looking at the ball near mid field with a minute to go and one less down. There was a little determination, focus and coaching involved in Butler's play. He wasn't lying on his back.

So let me get this straight to all the Pats Haters , Media Pats Haters and Hawks fans. The Pats were lucky? The Hawks should not even had been near the 5 yard line. That was lucky. The better Team won that day. Butler was instrumental and made a spectacular play but also Browner made a great play there as well. Prior to that, Ayers and Hightower got Lynch to the ground which was obviously important.

Lynch was not a slam dunk. Lynch was 1 for 5 in TDs from the one yard line this year.....That is right only 20%. Beast Mode is NOT a sure thing from the 1 yard line. On an average on this season about 50% of the time a Team passing on the one yard line scores. The odds to pass for a TD is double the Lynch percentage.

But yet the Pats victory is relegated to "being lucky" by all the media know it alls and that a game that should have been won by the Hawks, we actually stole. They would all be wrong then wouldn't they.

Go to the gameday thread if you want to find out. Actually don't, that is an abyss that you may never escape from.

"Cheaters never win"
" 0-3 in Super Bowls after spygate"
"No titles without cheating"

Blah blah blah. Thank God we won that game

I don't think I could watch football ever again. 3rd straight SuperBowl where the Patriots defense is left with a lead to defend and it gets blown. I'd feel terrible for Brady. All involving ridiculous, insane catches. 2 of which were sheer luck.

My posts in the game day thread:

"Don't count out Touchdown Tom."

"It's still too early to count out Touchdown Tom."

"I told you not to count out Touchdown Tom."

Also, if they scored a touchdown, we would of only needed a FG to send the game into overtime

He didn't, thanks to an alert coaching staff and Malcomb Butler. If you want to play the what if game, here's a few..
If David Tryee didn't hold on to the ball
If Welker hadn't dropped hat pass
If Asante had made the interception
If the ball hadn't hit the Seattle players ankle and bounced up so he could get it back.

If you believe in the multi-universe theory it has happened.Glad to live in this one.:)

I DID think of the parallel universe theory at that moment, Bingo...
