Sour Grapes from Seattle

The Lynch shirt I'm not a big fan of just because I'm a fan of Lynch and his telling the media to piss off. He's probably my favorite player in the league in the way he deals with the media hyenas.

"I'm just here so I don't get fined. You have two more minutes to look at me."
That was the greatest thing I've ever seen at media week.

Yeah, I'm all about giving it back to Sherman, but when I saw Blount holding up that shirt I wasn't overly impressed.

That said, I didn't get to see the parade (or any clips etc) yet, so I'm not sure what context it was in--although it seems fairly obvious ;)

Pats fans were handing them stuff and it started to get crazy towards the end lol
What started out as simple waves turned into the Chargers 50 yard line x 10 by the end lol

Also, Gronk was going mental

Some of the stuff was in good fun, but id agree that some of it was VERY un-patriot like. The "***** Mode" tshirts were a bit much for my liking.

That said, Sherman deserved all of the mocking he got. If you're gonna play the villain, you better be ready to handle the backlash when it comes your way.

All of that stuff was made, and given to the players, by the fans. And the b!tch mode shirt is directed at Sherman, not Lynch. And Sherman deserves it 1000x. I love it. F m'....... EDIT: U MAD BRO?:D

Sour grapes make the sweetest whine....

I don't have a problem with them trashing Sherman, but I found the mocking of Lynch in really poor taste. He didn't say or do anything to antagonize the team. Plus unlike many I have no problem with his handling of the scum in the media.

A superbowl loss hurts pretty good for fans, I can only imagine how devastating it is for a player. I have no problems with face-to-face trash talking, but I would prefer the Pats didn't mock other players publicly.

The players were celebrating and were feeling the love from the fans. The fans were tossing stuff to the players and they were holding it up. Someone threw the ***** mode shirt to Blount, he held it up for about 3 seconds and then threw it back into the crowd.

I don't think it's s big deal

I didn't realize that. Thanks for adding proper context.

I love the whole "don't say bad things that'll get used against you" stuff BB preaches because it has been proven to work for the team in the past.

The 2014 season is over and a champion has been crowned. If the team I root for wins it al, I find myself caring less about the things said after the season is over. A lot less. Cause winning is all I care about.

.....And Lynch was a bit of a spoiled little b!tch during media week. So he kinda has it coming from fans.

Did anyone see former Seahawk Jordan Babineaux on NFLN this morning? He was asked "Who has the better shot at going back to the super bowl next year, the Patriots or Seahawks?" He said Seahawks (which in itself is not a terrible answer as they are a good team) but then goes on to say that the dolphins and bills are catching up with patriots in the AFC lol. To me I think the Pats have a better shot simply because the AFC is not that great. Other than the Ravens, who else is there?

I think there's a huge difference between smack talking on the field and off the field. I like that on the field Brady will get in anybody's face but yet when Sherman came over to him after the game he stood up and simply said you're a great player and shook his hand. If anybody had reason to say who's mad now bro it would have been him.

When the Charger's belly ached about the Pats dancing on the logo and mocking the lights out dance it was completely in play since Merriman had talked crap in their rally. When Deion Branch whined about Jet's players flying around like Jets over the Pats logo it was time for him to shut up since he mocked the Steelers and their fans hardcore with the terrible towel.

You can't have it both ways no matter what fan base you are.

I will say Michael Bennett stayed around and congratulated BB, Brady and a lot of other Patriots. Sherman and Thomas both sought out Brady. I'm willing to give them a ton of credit for class that the Joey Porters and Terrell Suggs of the world lack.

A few Pats players were "knuckleheads". But for the most part, the team was well behaved and enjoyed the moment with the Fans! I'm still loving the sight of Brady and his son. I could care less what Gronk, Edelman and Blount did. They will have to answer for it later. The Seahawks have bigger problems than worrying about what is going on in another team's Super Bowl parade. Quite frankly, these players earned the right to beat their chests and talk a little trash. What do you guys think would have happened if the Seahawks were the Champions?

Catholic schoolgirl syndrome (no offense to any Catholic schoolgirls reading this).

Patriot players are forced to shut up and do their job for every day of the year but one.

So when they are finally able to let loose and talk some smack back they have some cathartic making up to do. :D

He also said that the Colts have the best chance of having a parade this time next year. Sorry but, new QB, same soft team.
