you know the play with collinsworth goes 'Got away with it'?

is there any slo mo shot of that play? i didn't think butler tripped him, but there was no replay, so i really couldn't tell.

IMO No. I have watched that play about 20 times and I am just not seeing where he "tripped" him. Butler fell down and Lockette looked to have tripped over his own feet and fell afterwards

Have I seen a definitive shot of contact, "NO". It just looks bad because Butler falls on the ground in very close proximity to Lockett, and Lockett gets tripped up exactly when Butler hits the groudn around him.

So it FEELS like he did contact him, but maybe it was coincidence.

If we can't tell definitively in slow motion on several viewings, then even if he did make contact it wasn't enough to warrant a call.

Can't say with 100% certainty, but yeah, I'm pretty sure that Butler tripped him. Smart play, surprised nobody's called him a cheater yet.

Probably but Matthews got away with a push that didn't get called.

Yes, absolutely. But...

Did Matthews push off Arrington for his 3rd catch?

Did the ref pick off Revis for Baldwin's TD?

Was there an uncalled helmet to helmet/neck area penalty on Chancellor's hit on Edelman? (similar to Browner's vs San Diego earlier this year)

Yes.

Real time I thought it was intentional and he totally got away with it but after re-watching the play a bunch I believe that as Butler was falling he made incidental contact with the receivers foot with his right hand as he was breaking his own fall. He definitely didn't reach out with his arm and trip - still could have been called - but not intentional.

I was pretty happy with the refs, they let the players play hard. There were a lot of things that could have been called on both teams.

He didn't trip him, I've seen it over and over again. I also saw Stephen A.Smith trying to use it as an excuse, saying the refs gave the Pats one, they replayed the clip and he still didn't trip him.

He definitely tripped him and it looked absolutely intentional. Who cares, though? The refs were letting both teams get away with PI all day. It made the game more enjoyable in the end.

As far as I could tell, he didn't reach out with a hand and trip him. Butler hit the ground, and either the receiver's foot hit Butler's shoulder pad or he just tripped on his own.

Actually, that's precisely what Butler did. Good thing, too, since he was toasted and a catch could have gone for a long way. Even more so when you consider that they weren't that far downfield so even if it were called the penalty yardage wouldn't have been disastrous.

Lol, should have made this a poll...it's like 50/50 even after people re watched it over and over!

If it had been the Pats on offense I'm sure we would have been sceaming for a pass.

According to Collinsworth its beyond a shadow of a doubt that he intentionally tripped him. Really? His arm was bent. Maybe his tow hit his arm but intentional? I really don't know what game he was watching.

My view of it was that he extended his arm and yes meant to do it. Kid plays like a vet already.
