The Seahawks = A Embarrassment

Don't understand how people can get so angry at Sherman. It's so over the top it's obvious to me. Did ya'll hate Ric Flair this much?

Now if he could cover the other side of the field, he might hold a candle to Revis.

You do realize that Ric Flair the wrestler was a fictional character that Richard Fliehr plays? Wrestling isn't real.

I don't really like players who need to call out other players to build up his own reputation. Sherman is a great player and I respect him on that level, but he is also an A-hole.

Revis is such a class-act. When you compare him to Sherman it's like night and day. Even if, and it's a big if, Sherman is slightly better, give me Revis any day.

I agree, you just see the way Revis acts with teammates, it's never i made the greatest play in the world look at me, he just wants to get the job done. Sherman needs to wake up.

See I think Sherman was pointing out the score for his team, not mocking Revis, but either way it was a premature celebration (thank God!).

Yeah I agree with this. He pointed to the score board and then did 24. I do not think for even a moment he was taking a shot at Revis. That was just what the announcer thought he meant and he insisted this without really thinking it through. I am not a Sherman fan but really he is allowed to be happy about the score. Just like we can be happy making fun of him over it. No big deal there.

Collinsworth was condoning and laughing along with Sherman's stupid "TWO-FOUR" thing. I couldn't believe it
That was unreal. Im still not certain Sherman was calling out Revis. I think the 2-4 was a call out to the score the Hawks had. Regardless, Collingsworth obviously thought he was calling out Revis. And it shows the hatred Collingsworth has for the Pats to not call out Sherman on it. He almost sounded glad to see it.

I still don't get why people give Sherman credit for doing something virtually every player on the losing team does after every game. Big freaking deal. Congratulations to Richard for doing the bare minimum of showing class during a game.

Also, I still wonder if he saw all the cameras pointing at Brady trying to capture his reaction after winning his fourth Super Bowl and tried to hone in on the limelight. Virtually every camera on the field was trained on Brady on one knee taking in the magnitude of the moment and Sherman came over and made it about him (intentionally or unintentionally).

Sherman is still a self important A-hole. Him congratulating Brady doesn't change that. Him calling Revis on camera after Revis gave up the TD is more of an accurate representation of his character.

I'm not a fan of Sherman and I believe Revis is a better player and the best DB in football, period, however it still take a great deal of composure to gather yourself and go over to Brady and congratulate him just moments after getting your heart ripped out. Overall I think the Seashell bashing is just a knee jerk response room this forum after weeks of getting trashed. IMO the true a-holes are still the Colts, Ravens, and Jets.

As far as Baldwin goes that was the first I had heard of the Taking a Dump celebration, and think it went way beyond the Randy Moss moon celebration. He pretty much disgraced himself and his team and as I said before I would release him today if I were the Seahawks.

Great karma that Seattle never scored another point after that Baldwin/Shermin douchebaggery!

Also I don't know why Baldwin isn't getting more heat for that from the media. When Randy Moss pretended to pull his pants down he was roasted about it for years. I think pretending to pull your pants down and take a dump on the Patriots logo is worse than pretending to moon the cheeseheads.

C'mon, Sherman did nothing that his 52 other teams (well 51 since one was in the locker room after being ejected) didn't do. The only difference was Sherman was caught on camera. Let's not turn what he did into anything special. It is a tradition for the losing team to congratulate the winning team after a win. That's all Sherman did.

What next? If Sherman said the Pats were the better team on the field in his post game press conference, he should get a Nobel Peace Prize?

And I think the Seahawks have been a bunch of trash talking jerks for a long time. Sherman is the worst of the bunch. I have not changed that.

BTW, the Colts' players for the most part were far more classy than most of the Seahawks' players. Most of them defended the Pats in DeflateGate and said the Pats just blew them out and the footballs didn't mean anything.

I don't even get the Baldwin thing. Why simulate taking a dump on the football that you've just scored with? What exactly is that statement supposed to be? I shat upon my team? Huh?

Agree completely, that was just bizarre. I think he's just trying to tell us what v we already know, he's a turd.

Randy Moss got fined $10,000 for pretending to moon the Packers fans ten years ago. This "man" pretends to pull his pants down and crap on the football. It was vile and disgusting and stupid. There has to be punishment coming.

On Inside the NFL, Michael Irvin said it was Sherman calling out Revis too and said Sherman should be above that crap.

Collinsworth is a pencil-necked jerk.

I'm comparing their "schtick." Concerning Sherman, that's all I see it as. My whole point was that Ric Flair wasn't real.

Sad thing is they had to use the Ref as a blocker to score on Revis.

Except I think Sherman isn't acting. I think that is his real personality. He is just another in a long line of NFL players who have been put on a pedestal their whole lives and are divas.

Oh, okay, now it makes sense. I was utterly pissed after that TD. Obviously the win softens the blow, but it kinda bothers me that there wasn't any sort of repercussion about this.
What repercussion did you want besides the 15 yard penalty?

That makes less sense than the Revis explaination frankly.

Irvin has become my favorite talking head.
