To all those who watched this:

If you guys wish to see another superbowl in your lives :)you better post/sendwhatever me to see it as well.
Thanks

I swear, I've seen alot of NFL Films over the past several decades.

I've NEVER seen one like THIS. I couldn't speak for minutes after watching that. It was like an actual movie, the words spoken at the different moments in the game were unlike any other NFL Films episode I have ever seen.

And it was about OUR TEAM.

As someone who grew up watching the sorry, amateurish Patriots of the late 60's-70's, who used to go to IHOP on weekends with my parents and brother when they used to give out the little plastic NFL logo helmets to kids - - and they NEVER had Patriots helmets, even in Massachusetts.........I cannot quite get my mind around what I just watched on Showtime's Inside the NFL.

I grew up in those days also, and every year would wait for the Sears and JC Penney's Christmas Catalogs to see if there was any Pats Gear you could buy.. but every year got a giant buzz kill when all they had were gear for the Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Green Bay, SF, NY teams..

All the while when I worked on every Sunday would come in and there were all the Jets, Giants and Miami fans in their full puff coat regalia.. puke green in various shades was a favorite.

Remember the first T-shirt I ever got, "Squish the Fish".... it was red, old school and cheap.. no hologram.

We have come a long way, savor every minute of it..

If anyone needs a link PM me

What a great speech , love this dude

I know you said PM you but i Don't know how. Sorry but I would LOVE the link!

Click on his name and then click the information tab and then click start a conversation.

The numbers and letters would flake and fade off, but the polyester/rayon wouldn't wear out.

Inside The NFL - Must watch for Pats fan

The show was on Showtime last night and if you saw it, it was incredible. The sideline footage and how NFL Films produced that entire piece was amazing. It had Brady's pre-game speech, Brady and Belichick's reaction throughout the game as well as Seattle's reaction.

The round table of Esiason, Simms, Irvin, Reed, and Gumble were really complimentary and fair.

As a Pats fan, it was as good as a show can be.

If this is available on On-Demand for you, you need to watch it.

EDIT: I didn't realize there already was a thread about this. Mods delete or put this post in that thread. Thanks.

One gripe.

They edited it to make it look like Doug Baldwin got completely open on his own.
According to him, he did, because he's a "beast." #jackass

I'm still on the fence with Zolak. He quit on the Pats when they went down by 14 the 2nd time against the Ravens. I'm surprised he hasn't taken more criticism for that.
If saying folks, this could be it is quitting, then I have quitted a lot. He still left room to recover. Give him a break. Even Tom Brady was doing the shaking the head thing before the INT.

Earl Thomas when Seattle scored the field goal:

"Three point, that's all we need!"

could someone please PM ME this !

Wow, just read through 9 pages of how great this is. Have none of those with cable and dvr never heard of YouTube? Someone please have mercy on us cable-less fans!

Sigh. I have searched everywhere and cannot find a link for this. I have put in a request from a guy who does all the NFL games. Gonna have to wait and see what he finds.

Also, some people here have said it's gonna be on the NFLN tonight at 9PM and yet all I see on the schedule is a replay of Super Bowl 49 set for 8PM tonight.

[EDIT] I just looked at NFLN schedule for tonight again and it's set to air at Midnight tonight.

I set the DVR to tape it today. I can't wait till I watch it based on the comments over here.

For those interested... anyone that has shotime/Xfinity (Comcast) you can watch it "On Demand" through Comcast website. Just search for "inside the nfl" and it should show up - says available for the next week..

For those without Shotime/Xfinity, I am going to keep looking as well b/c I want to share with some family and friends... Ill post something if I ever find it.

As far as the film goes, I don't think I could have respected Edelman anymore than I already did, but he is just an incredible teammate. Loved hearing BB bits as well, he really is so much more of a 'players coach' than anyone gives him credit for..

Finally, two interesting notes from the seahawks bits:
1.) Did anyone else notice Marshawn Lynch walking off the field smiling after the Russell Wilson/Butler Pick? Carroll stares right at him, I wonder if that rubbed him the wrong way? I know it was probably more of a "I cant believe that happened" type smile, but still..

2.) Seahawks are incredibly arrogant, more so than I thought.. It brought to mind the old Teddy Bruschi (I think?) saying of "Humble Pie" - which really summed it up the differences in philosophy... Nothing in particular, but there is a noticeable overall difference between the Pats and the Hawks players in terms of their attitude and approac... The one exception being Russell Wilson
