I just wanted to get some things off my chest about the SB. Please jump in with any comments of your own.
First a thank you to the Pats.
Tedy said it best about this win. All of the bs leading up to the game may or may not made the Pats want it more, but it definitely made the win more satisfying. Ahhhhhhhhhhh
Most HCs would have called a timeout in that situation. Just another example of why Bill's the GOAT.
Malcolm Butler made a few great plays, not just on the last play. There's no better feeling as a coach, or a more effective method, than showing confidence in a player's ability in a big situation and then seeing that player come through.
I've been trying to come up with some response to all of the haters that might accurately suit them. All I can come up with so far is... nah nah nahnah nah.
In one of the Seahawk fan reaction threads I heard a guy getting excited during the brawl about seeing some "soda crackin" with Gronk. Boy was he wrong.
Watching Brady drop those swing passes right in stride to Vereen reminded me of the biggest difference between Brady and Drew Bledsoe. Drew could never hit those in stride.
Thank you to all of the superstitious types that got it right this time.
Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth were clearly rooting for the Seahawks and at the most crucial moments in the game for the Pats offense they were talking crap about the Pats. They missed an epic performance by Tom and the team.
Talk is cheap, and no team does more of that than the Seahawks. they showed their true character at the end when they were taking blindside shots at Gron and still getting their butts' kicked.
For those Lynch would have scored believers, if I remember correctly there were at least two instances when Seattle had 3rd and 1 and the Pats stopped them for a loss. A Lynch TD was not a sure thing.
Pats fans didn't deserve to be crushed again with another fluke loss in a SB. Apparently, the Seahawk fans did.
The Good Ship Patriots is leaving a bigger and bigger wake of tears as it plods along.
The silence of the haters is defintely golden.
