Small crowd, yelling and excited...really could not believe the play Butler made...and so excited for this team after the win, just so happy for them after all the shi1t they had to take.

..and now I see on Twitter that they are supposed to be back @ Logan tonight at 7 and in Foxboro at 8:00. It is clear they want to be with their family (family = fan base) as son as possible.

Hopefully some of you all will be there.

Just a great organization from the top down to the 53rd....

Watched the game in my barn with a couple of close friends. I was in a daze after the Kearse catch. I was still trying to process why karma seemed to take joy in ripping Patriots fans hearts out when Butler made the interception.

So, here is how the last minute went down at my house after ANOTHER fluke reception.
ME: They need to just let Lynch score so they'll have plenty of time left to at least get into field goal range.

With 1:06 left, Lynch runs the ball and they stop him at the 1..

ME: BB.. Call a time out.. (seconds pass) BB.. WTF are you doing.. Call a Time out!!!!!! (standing and screaming at the TV) CALL A F***ING TIMEOUT!!!

Seattle runs the play.. it's a PASS and it looks like Seattle scored.. but.. wait.. what??? Butler intercepted it!
ME: (staring in shock at the TV my hands on my head and in a low whisper) We just won..

ME: OMG.. We just won..

Wife: not yet.. there is still 18 seconds..

ME: (looking at wife with daggers)

Wife: It's not over until it's over..

ME: (sitting back down next to her to watch the last 18 seconds)

i drove out to providence to watch with friends, excitement from start to finish, as the game was an all time classic, after the kearse catch jaws were dropped, wtf's were whispered, but then the interception happened and almost everyone started celebrating, the last person waited to celebrate til after the offsides/fight.

My wife and I opted out of going to my friend's party to watch the game mainly because of our two week old baby but also because I get rowdy at Pats games and can't be trusted around fans rooting for the other team. My wife is a huge Bears fans but never hesitates to don the Pats gear come playoffs time in solidarity. Holding my son was really cathartic for me and kept me pretty level headed, even when Kearse made that incredible catch. I was saying "oh god. Is this really the play I'll have to watch for years to come, haunting me like the helmet catch?! It can't end like this! It just can't!" After the interception, however, I lost it. I think I can honestly say it was the greatest moment I've had as a sports fan.

I had recorded us watching the whole game and caught a really special moment. Sorry for the harsh language but not really.

I went to a party full of Pats fans, and I'm so glad for it. The group scream at the moment of The Interception was unforgettable.

Better yet, my 13-year-old daughter who has never taken any interest in football decided to stay with me until the end. After that amazing sequence of stirring comeback followed by seeming miraculous defeat followed by sudden, stunning victory she was jumping and screaming with the rest of us. I turned to her and said "so that's why you watch sports." And she gave me a huge smile and said "yeah, I get it!" :D

I was in my sister's apartment in NYC surrounded by my sister (who doesn't care about sports), my brother in law who's a Dolphin's fan, my nephew, also a Dolphin's fan but likes the Pats a lot because of me, and my Mom, who though a huge Jet's fan, because of her love for me, roots for the Pats in every SB and loves Tom Brady. She bought Patriot's napkins and plates for our little SB party.

She really is a special Mom, bought me my first Pat's jersey for Christmas back in 1976. She said she almost had a heart attack watching the Baltimore game, and had he hands over her eyes when Butler made the INT. She heard us screaming (Me, my sister and my nephew), which in turn made the dog start barking like crazy. To be honest, I didn't realize Butler intercepted the ball, it was such a bang-bang play, happened so fast. Thank god Butler caught that and held on, tough catch.

Great video, gave me chills and had tears in my eyes. Awesome !

Video of the place where I was. This is about 30 seconds *after* the catch. It was complete bedlam at first...

Video link

It's surreal watching it, it was so freaking amazing being there with all those Pats fans.

Me (Houston) and my Dad (Orlando) met up in Biloxi for the SB party at the Beau Rivage. Pts fans were definitely in the minority. Up and down all game - before the pick we heard a lot of "Forgot to deflate the balls?" type crap from the Seahawks fans.

Then the pass - and the pick.

As I was standing up, my Dad dropped both fists down on my shoulders while screaming and nearly dropped me to my knees. I remember screaming, not yelling - screaming "Who mad now!".

I am still riding the high!

PS - about 2 hours later I was beat and had to crash. I get on the elevator for the ride to the 19th floor, and enjoyed the silence of the 4 'Hawks fans the entire way.

Just me and my daughter at 3 am or whatever it was.

Pats score. I look at the clock and say "oh no, they get the ball back, we won't stop them, there's too much time on the clock". I'm screaming at the TV when Lynch lines up out wide to the left. Can any play have been more obvious? Why take a 230 lb guy out of the backfield? Then I see the pass to Kearse. Great defense by Butler and ... oh no! I can't believe it. Here we go again. Well, darling, let's accept it. It's been a great season and we can be proud of this team.

But I have to watch every game to the end. Let them score and we have a chance at a FG. Time is going and ... then.

You could hardly see what was happening on the first TV shot. Now that I've seen it about 150 times I can see that it was simply a great, great play for Butler not to lose his man as he came across and then to dash in front of him. Immortality in three seconds!

After that the memory is quite blurred ...

It was about 3.30am, dark, cold and lonely. But oh so glorious.

I wish i was in Boston bar... Unfortunately I'm italian so I watched the game with a Steelers and a Ravens fan. The were rooting for Seattle... But i had the last laugh!

Watched it in a Bay Area bar. This was a regular site of Pats meetups, so we all knew each other. 100 people decked out in Pats gear. Some of them who swear they know someone who knows TFB or JE personally :p Had some close friends of mine (non-Football fans) come to support me and were honorary Pats fans for the night.

At the start of the 4th quarter, this ex-con looking dude shows up from nowhere and grabs a seat alone right by the entrance. No sports gear, just a t-shirt and jeans, with a bald head and biker beard. He's in a great mood cause Hawks are up 10. He makes it a point to yell and cheer for every Hawks play. He simmers down a little after the Amendola touchdown, and goes completely mute at the Edelman TD. Then, the Kearse catch happens. There's stunned silence in the whole bar, and this idiot is literally bouncing off the walls SCREAMING "Hahaha he caught it!", and pumping his chest egging any Pats fan to confront him. As if on cue, NBC starts replaying the Tyree and Mannigham catches, as I explain to my friends that history in a quivering voice to their agape mouths reactions.

20 seconds left, second and goal, I'm slumped in my chair, my friends feeling bad for me (never seen me this passionate before in the last 14 years we've known each other). Bald ex-con is at the table right next to me, and I wish I just could rip his beard off. And then, THE interception! It takes me and the whole bar a good half-second to register what just happened. All I remember is seeing Lockette falling back with empty arms, and a white Jersey (didn't know who at the time) lunging forward with the ball already tucked in a baby grip...that's when it clicked, and the whole bar ERUPTED! I was leaped off my seat with a growl that scared the crap out of the stunned ex-con, couple seconds later I fell to the floor with my head in my arms with a feeling of monumental relief and gratitude. Then came the hugs! From my pals who too were elated and cheering, to pretty much every other fan in the bar! At some point right after the int, I saw the ex-con with what I could swear were teary eyes slinking out the exit. Then came 150 hugs and the drinks and shots and the singing and the dancing! I made a new family of 100 strangers that day :)

Btw, one of my friends from the night had played her office pool, bet on the Pats, and won $250! :D

Stuck in the heart of Packerland, where everyone going into the game thought the real SB was played during the NFC Championship game. No love whatsoever for the Pats. Even after the win my kids (proudly donning Pats gear) heard "cheaters" from kids at school. My kids are resilient and couldn't care less what the haters thought.

Great stories. Mine's mild.

Usually watch alone as wife can't handle the tension and I don't abide neighbors' moronic chatter during a religious ceremony.

In FL for the winter & wife's brother invites himself over for the weekend. Not a football fan, so I know he'll be quiet. Then Friday night my brother from NH calls. He always goes to a huge SB party in his neighborhood so we've never watched a SB together. Says he's hopping a plane to Tampa 4 days early, can he stay at my house to watch the SB? Great!

He & his wife were great company & their presence kept my wife almost in check although she hurt her wrist pounding furniture & my shoulder at various plays.

Down by 14 in the 4th QTR I posted on the infamous Game Thread that all we needed to do was drive for a couple TDs, stop Wilson & the Lombardi was ours. I was the outlier in chicken little country.

Brother's wife went ballistic before the Squirrel's game winning TD as the announcers chose to chatter about ball inflation BS instead of remarking on what was to be an HISTORIC never done before 14 point comeback. Good for her!

Finally, THIS time I felt the D would hold.

Uh, oh! Flashbacks to 2 games I've tried to erase from memory as Kearse made the fluke catch. Lost faith.

Then #21 jumps the route!!!!

Having been whipsawed emotionally, I was nervous as the Pats had the ball on the 1 yd line figuring a safety gives Seattle 2 pts and a great kick return gives them either a FG or a chance at a fluke Hail Mary.

Great presence of mind as we draw them off sides.

Best W ever as I was wicked pissed at the NFL & media for deliberate ignorance about physics as BB's and Brady's legacies were trashed 24/7 for 2 weeks. I'd posted about PV=nRT here that 1st Monday morning after the Colts game to no avail.

I had a house party with my girlfriend, about 15-20 friends, and a keg of beer. Some friends were casually rooting for the Pats as was my girlfriend. I had about 3 others that were huge Pats fans. Screaming and jumping for joy during the INT followed by me telling teh TV (showing Richard Sherman at that moment) to suck it. Fun times. Quite the chagne of pace from the last two Super Bowls where I watched with mostly Giants fans.

No one really watching the game from 730 AM onwards on my side of the world. I took leave so I can be at home to watch. When Kearse made the lapdance catch, I was utterly devastated. I think I let out this long moan like depressed whale remembering the 07 and 11 games.

I really really thought they were going to run it and we were going to see a repeat of the 1st half ending.

When the interception was made, I let out the largest scream I could muster. WHAT REDEMPTION.

It was kind of a bad move. My cat was sleeping on a shelf above my head and my cry of victory gave it the shock of its life. It then fell on my head, claws extended. It then tried to run away from me, claws extended and of course had to try to get traction on my arms and face, claws extended.

My arms and face looks like freddy kruger and edward scissorhands tried to caress me. BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER.

Involuntarily, me after the Kearse catch (minus the girly parts):
