"The Patriots cheated by having a better coach" is my personal favorite. The cements Letterman as my all time favorite late night host (no disrespect to Conan, Kimmell or Fallon, all of whom are 20x better than Leno)

And while I accept the rationale that technically it might have been the "correct" choice to gain an extra play, I still think that when you've got a QB who didn't make his first completion until 5 minutes remaining in the first half, and a dominant RB, you take the 2 low risk running plays rather than even consider an additional higher risk pass play on top of it

Belichick goaded Carroll to throw, and his players executed perfectly, and once again, a team and their fans who had prematurely declared themselves a dynasty wept

(Warning - Language not suitable for kids ;)

An animated corpse would be better than Leno.

Wow....that video...just wow. I am a horrible human being because I took far too much delight in those poor bastards pain.

I also like, "We'll get 'em next week." Perfectly plays off Pete' rah-rah character.

After SB42 and what we had to hear from other fans we are 100% morally in the clear taking delight in those poor bastards' pain.

Part of enjoyed the video, part of me remembered the pain of last second losses, and part of me enjoyed the video, but part of me sympathized because of I know the pain of last second losses, but part of me enjoyed the video despite being able to empathize with losing when you thought it was in the bag. Then there was the part of me that enjoyed the video because I knew exactly what they were feeling.

That being said... I'm glad it was them, and not me (again).

Well, seeing we have been there, seen it, and experienced it 3 miserable times (SB 42, SB 46, and 2006 AFCCG), it was nice to "turn the tables" and let someone else be on the receiving end of it this time around.

Yet Leno was still vastly superior to Letterman, O'Brien, Kimmell and Fallon. Sad commentary on Carson's successors....

Hey brothers and sisters in Patriots Nation!!!! I have to explain this first. Last night I thought I remembered that the day after the Super Bowl, Dave Letterman always had the MVP on his show. Well of course I forgot about it until the show was half over, but I turned it on anyway just to see if Tom was on there. I turned it on just in time to see this:

My friend's favorite is #3, but my favorite is #1. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Leno was about as funny as a tepid episode of the "Golden Girls." Mailed it in after the first couple of years. Blech!

That's because he is from East Bridgewater!!!!!

Sorry. Too many of those were me in 2008 after Tyree's catch and in 2012 after Welker's drop for me to think that that is funny (except for the guy busting up his TV, which was obviously staged after the fact).

And, the parents who posted the shots of their minor children should be impaled on the Twelfth Man Flagpole.

Lol, I think it's only hunerous because I'm a Pats fan...

Seriously, they really have some stale, dry humor writers on some of those late night shows..

#1 and #10 were really the only ones I had a chuckle over, the others aren't very clever at all

I felt awful for the kids. My kids are young but we sent them to bed around mid 3rd quarter. My daughter had the sweetest words for me when I told her the Pats were losing by 10 points.

She was soooo happy when she woke up that the Pats came back to win. Im thinking it was the lucky red white and blue bracelet she crafted for me earlier that day (or Malcom Butler)
