Cant believe no one is talking about this.

Amendola misses a tackle, Edelman misses a tackle, OLineman misses a tackle, LaFell gets blocked out of the picture….. Edelman makes the tackle on his second effort.

Nothing but a big ugly left back there on the sideline that could have easily been juked. I think Lane takes that one back for 6 if Edelman doesn't make the tackle.

Could you imagine how much this wouldve changed the game? Score wise we wouldve spotted them 7, Bradys confidence wouldve been shaken right out of the gate, and Seattle wouldve had a ton of momentum. This could've been like Manning's botched snap last year where it all snowballs downwards. Edelman is the man.

While obviously the Patriots have benefited immensely from having Minitron as a WR, I have to wonder what would have happened if the Patriots had decided to make him a DB instead.

We don't know how good he is at reading/reacting/etc. We know he's great at attacking.

I used to think safety would be his best position -- the Lane tackle wasn't his first important hard hit -- but that's when I didn't realize how good he'd get at WR.

At the least he prevented a much bigger gain. You'll notice that Julian didn't quit on the play. He got either missed the tackle or got blocked but he kept going and got him out of bounds. It was a very nice play, over shadowed by the fact that it was also a turnover.

Don't forget Edelman used to play DB on the Patriots during the 2011 season.

He's tough as hell

There were more white socks closing in as Edelman made the tackle, and there could have been another Benjamin Watson type save before a pick six. Looking at the replays I told myself how the Seahawk's blue matched the blue walls in the background, like camouflage, and that's what I'll keep telling myself on that endzone interception.

Great job by Edelman making the tackle where he did.

He'd have gone further, no doubt, but it looks unlikely that it would have gone for 6 to me.

So what position can't minitron play? Place kicker? Punter?

Edelman sent Tomlinson into retirement. I hope Lane is ok.

Vareen get a good release to the flat. Too bad Brady didn't dump it off to the right. Would have been close to a first down. Even if Vareen couldn't get the first, could have at least gotten 3 out of it.
