Who do you want to play opening night 2015?

Nothing in the rules that says it HAS to be a home game. And trust the NFL to shaft the Pats by making it an away opener. I recall the Ravens opening AT Denver in 2013. If it is an away game, I want the colts. Always nice to start with an easy win.

The only reason they Opened at Denver was because it conflicted with an Orioles Game

I would like it to be the Bills because of Rex.

If I had to bet I would say the Steelers, the jets could happen but only if they get Mariota or Winston. When do they announce the full schedule?

I bet we get Rex & the Bills. Frankly, I'd like an easy opponent ( I know, any given Sunday) like the Jags or the Jets as I'd want a sure as possible win on the night they raise the banner. We tend to start the year kind of slow.

They would never start a Super Bowl winner with the jags or jets, two mediocre/bad teams without national appeal.

The pats will have the home game to start the season. As mentioned earlier, the only time in the last 10 or so years the SB champ hasn't gotten the kickoff game was the ravens in 2013, but that's only because their stadium and Camden yards share parking lots. The orioles had a home game that night and were unwilling to budge on changing their time. It was illogical to have both games simultaneously, so the ravens opened in Denver.

They want a team that is usually on NBC a lot. A team with a national following. As much as I would like it to be Rex, buffalo is still unproven and they have a relatively small market.

The only realistic options are either Pennsylvania team, with the steelers being the favorites over the eagles in my opinion

Still enjoying this win but I would guess the most attractive games would be Buffalo or Pitt....didn't look at our home schedule at all for next year, but wow, there are some real stinkers in there.

The road games next year; The AFCE plus Houston, Indy, Dallas, Giants and Broncos.

I'd go with Pittsburgh.

I am really curious to see where they put banner #4!! Gillette is starting to look like the Old Garden ;)

I could see the Eagles being a good possibility. They've got a strong fan base so would probably draw a good TV audience. Also, while they weren't a playoff team, they had been okay for a while this past season.

I do think the Steelers would be more likely though.

Boy, there isn't much intrigue on the schedule. I know they base it off some formula, but they should scrap it and give the Pats the hardest one they could invent. Like take the eight divisional round teams and make the Pats play them all twice.

And make the Pats play with one arm tied behind their back!

(Feeling a little over confident with the win-buzz two days ago)

Is the 16-0 banner still up? Maybe they can put that one back in storage.

It would be nice to embarrass those Colts again. This time score 50+ for all the deflategate crap the team had to endure.
Preliminary reports already indicate that it was the Colts GM who turned the Pats in.

It would be a sadistic rematch set up for opening night by the NFL, with the story line that the Pats will be out to humiliate the "sore losers" (imagine the outcome with Mayo playing). Any post SB lethargy (not that BB or TB would allow it to occur) would be out of the question and they would be on a mission to demolish them.

But, the tradition is for it to be a home game and I think that's right for the fans.

I don't think the NFL will do it, though, for the reasons stated above. But I, too, would love it. I'll stick with my prediction of Pittsburgh.

The Pats have the NFC East last night. You can bet that the NFL is kicking itself that the schedule calls for them to play the Giants in the Meadowlands. THAT would be the game the League would love. The SB champs vs. their one nemesis on opening night.

No, it will be a Home game. The Ravens opened away only because the Orioles didn't allow them the use of the stadium because of a possible Playoff conflict. By the time the Deflategate "investigation" is finished, the last thing Goodell will want to do is irritate Kraft, who is probably on a mission to get his ass fired.

...and I want the Patriots to play on Thanksgiving Day in Dallas.

So the entire nation can see the Cowboys lose.

What a dud home schedule.
I have no preference.

Isn't there an obvious solution? If the competition isn't up to the necessary standard you just fight against more than one. Given all there incestous coaching changes between Bills and Jests, it should be easy to build a joined Squad. And the game might actually be interesting in the second half.

I actually want to see Buffalo, Rex will have that defense fired up, actually all teams we play are gonna be fired up.

Footloose can't be too fancy free with his qb...that poor dude is qb cursed. Don't know if Manuel is the guy...

I want to see the colts so we can put 60 on them
