Anyone else think Collinsworth was unbearable last night?

That "who knows what the future holds" garbage was really bad.

I bet they were told to take a anti-Pats slant since most of the country was anti-Pats.
Yeah, i thought what do they mean, is goodell going to order the pats disbanded or kick them out of the league? he made it sound that ominus.

I actually didn't notice it during the game. I was too caught-up in the excitement. He was unbearable harping on deflategate in the postgame - so unbearable that I tuned in Felger instead.

Cripes! What a choice.

He's been worse.

Watched mostly on muted. Thought they were okay except unwarranted deflate gate references especially in the critical 4Q and even Tafoya after the game the first thing she asks kraft is about deflategate.

Collinsworth is quite friendly with BB and told some great stories about production meetings with BB this past week on the dan patrick show and even said when he met brady he looked him in the eye and said he didnt do it but was surprised by what brady said during the costas interview.

Regarding showing disgust at Seattle's playcall in the final INT, thats what an analyst is supposed to do even though it sounds like he is pro seattle. He has to give his opinion on what everyone is thinking at home.

What do you mean "last night"?

Every time I hear his name I think of the Week 2 2007 "Spygate" interview he did on NBC after the beatdown the Patriots put on the Chargers. He looked close to tears and in disbelief at what had just happened on the field, like he was convinced the only reason for the success was due to "spying" on opponents.
Every time I hear his name I see his crushed expression as the Pats bumped the Bengals from the '86 playoffs

Absolutely brutal. Guy sounded like a Seattle cheerleader during the whole telecast. I actually muted the game for a few minutes in the third quarter because his rooting interest for Seattle was bothering me. Dead silence from him after the Butler play. Did anyone else notice this? I thought it was particularly bad in this game.
We had to turn the sound down in my house.

Honestly I was too busy watching the game

Yeah it was ridiculous. My wife noticed how he was clearing rooting for Seattle. And Al's "future" comment pissed me off . Just an old man saying nonsense

hm. strange. every other nfl forums think collinsworth is on a pats payroll. no lie.

He was jumping in and out of his seat every time the Seahawks made a play. It was crickets when we scored touchdowns. He also never gave us credit for making plays, a prime example is on Gronk's touchdown.

Typically I feel like Phil Simms is the biggest POS when it comes to bashing the Patriots, but last night seemed like Collingsworth channeled his inner Simms as he was thoroughly disgusted to have seen the Patriots win.

Watched on mute. Pretty much do so on every broadcast. I normally like Collinsworth but him and Michaels were unbearable last night

When watching the game live I was hardly paying any attention to him. I did notice when it was all over he and Michaels looked pretty somber. I just went back to watch the last minutes of the game and noticed Collingsworth was down right giddy after the Kearse sh!t luck catch.

Ummm.....actually I think that Collingsworth is unbearable EVERY night and every day! Guy is a first rate bum sphincter......I mute him every time he opens his puppet head

Yeah but at end Pats shut'm up!

I thought I was the only one that muted those aholes in the third quarter. Bringing up deflategate was uncalled for. That was not good commentary because it was too biased

I did not watch any pre-game shows, hit the mute button many times, and turned my tv off completely during half time.

Every team's fan base thinks the media is either out to get them or not giving them enough attention.
