Considering how much he hates the Patriots, how badly must it have hurt him to have to walk down and present the trophy to our team, our owner, our coaches, our players? I remember watching the hater walking with the trophy as every player and staff member in the Pats organization rubbed or kissed the trophy before it made its way to the waiting hands of BB and Kraft with a huge fake smile plastered on his face.

And i thought to myself - this is delicious irony. The biggest Patriots Hater has to present us with our Championship trophy. LOLOL!

By Request, I'm adding a link to the Trophy presentation in case you wanted to see the video yourself:

Oh yeah, he was miserable. I think that, everything considered, this is right up there with Super Bowl 36 for my favorite Patriots win. Just to watch the holier than thou members of the media have to stumble all over themselves after the win was just the cherry on top.

I didn't realize that was him, he must of hated that. What a beautiful thing. Now that I know I want to watch it again.

Ok! Your request is granted! I posted the link to the trophy presentation above.

I can't imagine he enjoyed that. It was delicious to watch every player touch or kiss the trophy, resulting in it taking five full minutes to walk the trophy to the stage.

What did he do to deserve such a cruel fate? Must have insulted Lord Godell.

It looked like he enjoyed it and that the players reactions reminded him of his own title. He was certainly the perfect guy to hand it off, having won and been named MVP, having lost to the Pats, and having lost as the QB of the host Cardinals. The connections abounded, and he has just as many rings as most of the Pats now.

My Dad asked me this, and I researched it. A plausible explanation was he was the Cardinals QB when they went to Super Bowl, and the venue was Arizona.
Ok, makes sense I guess. I was still surprised to see him carrying "Our Trophy".

I thought that was hilarious. Although whoever decided that he should deliver the trophy to the podium needs to be fired.

"He hated every moment of it and thought it was a cruel joke by the universe." This perfectly sums up my feeling seeing that....I fully expected that as honorary captain Bruschi would have been the one to carry that trophy (yet again).

Someone amazing with video effects need to add him getting hit in the face with lettuce from every direction as he makes his walk of shame with our 4th Lombardi

Why was he designated this task in the first place?

He probably got tagged to do it weeks ago before they even know who would be in the Super Bowl.. either that or he was VERY confident in Seattle, which would make it that much funnier lol :)
