Edelman killing it on WEEI right now

Awesome. Haven't listened to it, but the Patriot's "say nothing" gloves are sorta off with respect to the BS the media has been spouting.

PS I thought Tafoya and Dan Patrick were pretty much awful post game last night. Tafoya interviewing Kraft right after they won, and I forget what I didn't like about DP, cause at that point someone important was holding the Lombardi.

it might have been when he asked how this superbowl won compared to the last one gronk won. to which gronk replied, I've never won before.

DP also asked Gronkowski three ****ing times what it was like to hold the Lombardi again. Gronk was nice and didn't correct him until the third time. If I were Gronk I would have ripped DP's head off his shoulders and spiked it Mortal Kombat style. FATALITY!

I never fully subscribed to the sports media as prejudiced against the Pats. But the last two weeks of Pat bashing has made me a complete convert to this stance. And the onslaught continues in a slightly more reserved and subtle form this morning--mainly by a continuing effort to play the childish cheat card, with the assumption that the "legacy is in doubt." Sheer sour grapes and juvenile stupidity by some of the deans of sports broadcasting.

Welcome to 'The Hated' club.

Many of us are in this club right from 2007's camerage-gate.

Yeah, she pretty much started in with the controversy without giving much to them being SB champs. and why didn't Kraft correct her when she said they won 3 SBs? I would have responded, "Which SB win are you taking away from my team?"

It is during the heat of the battle when the haters will reveal themselves, not when they have time to consider what they are saying in advance.

This Superbowl win and the two weeks of Deflategate have allowed us to compile a rather lengthy list of certified haters.

God, I agree. My list has really grown---but this pathetic and juvenile linking of stupid deflate to legacy that I find incredibly abhorrent---this is taking an abysmally low road.

What Cris Carter did last night was disreputable.

A person should not be allowed to say what he said and hide behind any personal responsibility just because he prefaced his rant with the word "IF".

"IF" is not a get out of jail card that allows a person to assassinate someone's character.
I so much agree with you and I have been spewing my opinion where I could on this one.
Said many times, love my neighbors to the south but that media you got going on down there has no accountability whatsoever and it seems to me that they can say what they want to say with no ramifications of any kind of defamation.

It's different than simply saying what they themselves want to drag people or businesses through the mud. They influence and spew garbage with a convincing tone and pass opinions off as fact. These actions have real consequences regardless of the truth. All sizzle and no steak and the public just eats it all up.

It's kinda sad. It's like disciplining kids really, unless there are consequences then the behavior will continue and the media knows this will never happen because they will forever live in the land of no accountability.

I missed what Carter said.. I didn't bother with any of the pre-game BS yesterday..

What Edelman is saying today about Steve Young is very telling.

Everyone remembers the night of the KC game and what Dilfer said about the Patriots 'not being good anymore'.

But standing right next to him was Steve Young. And, if I recall correctly, he said something that must have gone straight to Edelman's ego.

It was something along the lines of 'The real crime is that that front office has surrounded one of the greatest QB's in history with lousy players who cannot be considered weapons'.

If I'm Julian Edelman, I want to exact my pound of flesh for that comment straight out of Steve Young's face.

WOW. Calling Ridley, Edleman, Vereen, LaFell, and Gronkowski "lousy weapons".. I missed that one..

Turns out he didn't just do it after the KC game. He did it AGAIN during an interview with WEEI on November 3rd..

So, that is probably ANOTHER reason that Edelman is doing it..

I didn't see her try to interview Kraft. I saw her try and interview Butler and he just kept walking away from her. In fact, at one point she had to jog to get in front of him so he'd stop so she could do the interview.. It was hilarious.. He wanted nothing to do with her..

When Patrick asked that, the first words out of my mouth were, He's never been there before ***hole..

Here is the video of Carter losing his **** and Dilfer schooling him

No doubt I'm going to regret asking, but...

What did he do?

Ranted (and became VISIBLY angry about what he believes the Patriots did in "deflategate"). He protected himself by inserting the word "IF" at the beginning, then proceeded to assassinate the characters of Tom Brady and the entire franchise.

It was dishonorable and disreputable.

It was very awkward between CC and Dilfer last night. I thought those two would go at it.

I almost think Dilfer was visited by 3 Ghosts. Patriots of past, present and future. What a turn-around.
