Seattle's dynasty starts tomorrow folks

In case you hadn't heard. I remember when we won our second and everyone and their mother said it takes 3 to be a dynasty.

I happen to think tomorrow is the start of a dynasty tho, I just happen to think it's the start of our second.

(Lol hopefully)

Personally I would prefer other teams declare the start of dynasties.

It worked out well for us last time when Ricky Proehl was the mouthpiece.

He wants to play until he's 45.. But father time is undefeated, I doubt that happens.. And if it does, I doubt he is with the patriots the whole time... And lol, yeah, 8 superbowls might have been a bit ridiculous to say for even the biggest of all homers ;)
Disagree, 8 more SBs is very likely and anyone who says otherwise is completely blinded by their irrational hate for the Patriots.:p

No they can't. Brady needs to win three more before he retires. They can win their second one in 2018.
I thought Brady was going to play until he's 70. He should have time for 20 more. :D

Seattle is so young right now, and still banged up. Next year could very well be their best team.

You never know when a major injury might occur, but they have a lot of great pieces to keep this run going another few years.

I am in WA. I heard a few people already talking about 3-peat.

I've always agreed with Bob Ryan that a dynasty is a team whose greatness extends over decades, and so the only true ones are the Celtics, the godless yankees, and heathen canadiens.

Having said that, it's still the Patriots Era but Seattle could do a lot to lay claim to a new one with a win tomorrow. I'm confident we'll come out on top, though.

Bob Ryan was once a great basketball writer and observer. Now, he's a nasty, old pain-in-the-balls telling little kids to get off his lawn. I say that as a guy who is almost as old as he is. In particular, he hates the Bill Belichick and, in general, he hates the Patriots. Most of all, he hates their fans. He's become a flaming douche.

He is pretty miserable now. I've just always felt he summed up what a dynasty truly is quite nicely.

Sure, that's true. But, in the era of free agency, salary caps and luxury taxes there will never be those types of dynasties again. A strong argument can be made that what the Patriots have done in the last 15 years is more impressive than the Celtics, Canadiens and Yankees. In fact, I'd put the SA Spurs right up there.

It's going to be an epic battle tomorrow Pats fans. Nothing like our shellacking of Ol' Noodle Arm and the Broncos last year. It could come down to which one of these great coaches makes the most brilliant or gutsiest call.
I still remember Bledsoe waving off the punt team in Miami...Pete was the coach for us at the time.

That said, Pete seems far from his old self these days. We also know BB is not afraid to make "that call," (4th and 2) in a big spot. All that said, I think this game comes down to penalties and run defense (including your RW rolling out/extending plays). Special teams could also haunt you guys...

Yes, we've seen the last of true dynasties I'm sure, although both the Pats and Spurs are very impressive. I'm content to call their runs eras rather than redefine Dynasty. Journalistic integrity is long gone, too, and I'm not about to lower my standards and redefine that to fit the filth that's out there now. :)

You live in America where language long ago ceased to matter. This is why 2 Superbowls is a Dynasty (because it sounds good) and 15 inches of snow is "the storm of the century" (because it sounds good)

If it sells, that's the proper use of language. Academic standards and consistency in definitions has little to do with anything.

Hopefully they catch Doug Baldwin on tape saying, A dynasty is born tonight.

OK.

Twice the Pats have stopped a dynasty from forming (Rams and Seahawks)

The first dynasty stop created our very own dynasty. So.....the second?

Screw the classless no good obnoxious SeahawksSeahawks

How about we go Cowboys and they go Buffalo Bills?
