5 catches, 48 yards, 1 TD. Not a bad night's work for a guy most of the board wanted cut.

He had a huge game against Baltimore, and without that, we probably don't even make it this far. And tonight, he made some really big plays in the game.

He wasn't the next Welker like we had initially thought, and we can talk about that contract all night, but he played through a lot of hate and carved out a niche for himself. He found a way to contribute, and he's been a huge player in this play-off run.

Yeah his numbers haven't been what many have hoped for when he signed, but he's definitely shown up in some big spots over his two seasons here. His first game vs. Buffalo, Jets games this year, and in the playoffs this year against Baltimore and in the Super Bowl. Can fix the contract later. Dude's a Patriot thru and thru.

One thing he has over Wes is that he makes the catch when you need him too. No stone hands like Wes.

And he was huge in a couple of regular season wins. He's no Edleman, but...

x100...yep.

Gotta Love Danny, fought through the hate
nah i don't think he fought through any hate, cos he probably didn't notice

just a professional ball player, came in and did his job every day, and eventually because he's good that meant he made some big plays

just because some fans on a messageboard thought he was going to be a 100 rec, 1200 yd, 10 td receiver doesn't mean he failed by not being that or that he felt "hated on" by some outside force

My guess is that Danny paid attention to the complements of the coaches and players, and ignored posts on patsfans.com.

I think Edelman and Amendola bring out the best in each other ... they need to stay together for a few years.
