Edelman was a beast today

Jules is incredible. And Danny has had a GREAT postseason.

My kid wants Edelman's jersey. He currently has Welker's so I will have to make this happen, I guess.

Make it happen.

The drive which Amendola scored was a big boy drive. Yes the final drive will always get the plaudits but that drive turned the game and belief crept back into the team after it had visibly faded with a 10 point deficit. And Edelman was just huge. At the time I thought that even if the Patriots were to lose the game, I would be immensely proud of Edelman and the Patriots Offense for that drive. That was the drive where they reached down for everything they had.

I remember losing to the Ravens in `09 and that day Edelman was one of the few guys who came to play and the same spirit took them to a Championship today.

I cannot compliment the guy enough for his efforts on that one drive alone. He went into the teeth of the enemies strongest weapons (Chancellor, Wagner & Thomas) and took their best shot but still came out standing barely).

Edelman is a champion, even before he was a champion. He embodies what it is to be a Patriot.

So close to deserving the MVP, definitely Brady deserved it but Edelman was a close second.

Wow, he was playing hurt and he just kept making plays. So happy he got the winning TD. One of the great Pats ever

Chancellor nearly killed him but he stumbled forward about ten yards or so barely concious (but his knee was down). I thought for sure he had a concussion and would be out, but he stayed in

HyperSquirrel!!!

And by the way -- if not for Brady's third-worst throw of the night, Edelman would have had both TDs in the comeback.

I actually thought eldeman deserved the MVP more then Brady who threw two back breaking picks. Brady doesn't throw those we win by more then 4. That said it was a real team win and picking one player for MVP does a real disservice to the many players who deserve to be in the convo. Eldeman, butler, wilfork, Brady, Gronk....any one of them did enough that I would not have complained if they were named MVP.

Welker was good, but no way he makes the type of plays #11 made today. Welker is not that type of player. You don't take him to a dog fight like that.

Edelman is a star in the NFL. He's that good.

Danny A played big time too

Always loved Edelperson on the Pats
Overcame injuries
Guy's a baller
Great players make great plays to win titles.
The Squirrel is clutch
Hope he's OK after playing thru what I thought was a concussion
Look at the record books. He is THE leading receiver in post season yards!

Go Squirrel!

Edelman was a force! Yet even that accolade seems but a trite understatement. Play after play, he seemingly would not be denied. He basically defined, re-defined, personified, and inserted a picture of himself in the dictionary forever more when someone asks if an athlete "Comes to Play". Incredible.

Brady was phenomal. The 2nd pick was just a great athletic play by Wagner. First one I actually think Tom tried to throw it away and didn't get close to it. But that is one of Brady's top 5 game. He beat that tremendous secondary with his arm, and mind.

Its still 2 picks that drasticly altered the game. I am not saying Brady was not deserving (4 tds says he is) just that Jules played mistake free ball something Tom did not. To be honest IMO no one jumped off the page as the clear MVP this was a good all around team win with a bunch of players deserving.
