It wasnt looking too good, but good god there was so much time left. There was even a thread where a guy said this looks like it will be a blowout, lol.

I wanted to post have some faith. Its not like the Pats were getting killed. Hell the Pats really dominated the game for the most part.

Makes me think that people who think that have doubts in their personal lives when it isnt that bad to begiin with

The game thread was an ugly, ugly place.

But after existing through the last two Superbowls, I am not going to get too down on people who are venting in disappointment, especially after the last two weeks.

Someone had posted that the Seahawks were due a heartbreaking loss. When we were down 10 - I saw the future and it was victory

The game thread is always like that. FlakyFootballFans show up and leave when the opponents score in the first quarter.

Champions don't quit. Quitters aren't champions. Clichès with a ring of truth.

I had to leave the living room and sat in my room alone watching the 4th quarter. I was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Thank god for xanax and Malcolm Butler.

I long ago gave up on the gameday thread. The vitriol is just unbearable, as are a class of folks who I would charitably call chicken-littles. I have suspect most of them are drunk-posting, because it's that bad.

But afterward, it's not a bad place to be, especially tonight. :)

I have no problem being labelled anything you like. Seattle looked like they were about to ride away with the game and the Patriots stalled. Luckily, the Patriots found their mojo and all that is right with the world was restored.

I am in awe of the mental make up of this team. Truly, I am.

Gotta Love Passion! Roller Coaster Emotions BUT NEVER, EVER Give Up On PATS!

Winners never quit. Quitters never win.

I'm drunk as a skunk right now, but I will say this - people who doubted this team aren't really true Patriots fans. You never, ever, ever give up because you know this team never will. Only fairweather people do such things.

These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his [team]; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

There were a lot of people in the thread that were positive and didn't give up.....I really enjoy that thread because the posters are really passionate and for the most part very knowledgeable!!!!
I am on cloud nine now, what an awesome feeling!!

I called for a fumble at the 1 yard line in the game thread right before that play. I also pointed out during the commercial break after the belly catch that we were up by 4 so no reason to panic (even though it's not a guarantee as we know.)

I have said it all year long that the patriots are like a religion. You have to have faith. Faith is not easy, it is doubt and anger and disappointment but eventually ends in joy. That is the Patriots 2014-2015 season.

I'm glad that everyone was so sure of the victory. Consider just how different these threads would have been if Lynch has been given the ball 2-3 more times and had scored.

Obviously, fans should not have bailed after we were down 10, but we truly dodged a bullet at the end of the game. Many players and media have tweeted that the play call by Carroll was the worst in Super Bowl history. I tend to agree.

If the queen had balls she'd be the King...if Brady doesn't throw an INT at the goal line, Seattle isn't even in it at the end...if if if if if if...stop whining about other people exhibiting their emotions.

I notice that no one ever gives the other team any credit.

These Seattle players...they're pretty good.

What's scary is this game went exactly how madden predicted it would go

Greatest day ever! Watching the game in the westgate parking lot just outside the stadium with a borrowed tv from walmart!!!

Heading back to vegas to pick up my winnings and will be hung over as **** flying home tomorrow!!!

Hey even Brady had doubts--he looked sooo depressed after his INT

I had to listen to my mother in law praise Russell Wilson the whole game. What could be worse than that? Thank god for butler.
