Speechless. It's the guys you least expect. I hope he gets the MVP. He won the game for us.

What a classic Superbowl.
It's right up there with the legendary plays in NE sports history. "The Interception" indeed.

Then the Seahawks D got mad, bro :)

It's funny how the team goes out and picks up Revis and Browner to try to solve our Super Bowl woes and it ends up being an undrafted rookie who gets the game-winning pick.

That could not have been a more perfect play! Butler saved out BACON! And he's a rookie? HERO in my book!! That play will live on in football LEGEND! The Giants 'curse' has been lifted!!

Long Live the Patriots!! Brady and BB have SEALED their place in HISTORY!!

Agree 100%. That was one of the most critical turnaround plays in Super Bowl history. It will go down in history.
Good to be on the positive side this time, much better feeling. the last 3 weren't pleasant (though this one wiped out the most recent - Kearse catch)

It was also just a tough play. He fought for it.

  • Great recognition and anticipation.
  • Excellent hands.
  • Remarkable helmet-to-helmet hit :) (properly non-called by the officials -- not the kind of thing the rules are focused on preventing).

You know he made another important play on the Kearse reception. Harmon (it was him right..) needs to learn to play to the ball until the whistle blows.

Butler had enough presence of mind to tackle Kearse.

You can thank michael lombardi. He went to scout him and pushed BB to sign him.

Steve Young and Tom Jackson giving ZERO credit to the pats and pinning it all on the last playcall. Embarassing. So butthurt

And now . . . Jimmy Garoppolo has as many Super Bowl rings as Peyton Manning. :D
This is the greatest argument killer ever now... Brady is the GOAT with 4 rings, he beat the Hawks a year after the same Hawks stomped Manning by nearly 40 points, and his backup has as many rings as Manning.

Debate over.

Omg, I think I gave both of my nuts to either God or the Devil. I am not sure anymore. OMG. That would have been cruel, I don't we will have recovered from that for generations. What a freak of a catch.

Now you've got me wondering if Satan has a nut collection.

What a battle!!! So awesome

If bitter butthurt mediot haters blow hot air and hater tears and nobody sees it, did it really happen?

The Pats deserved it, of course. They made more plays.

But let's be honest, that Seattle play call was one of the worst in NFL history. Odds are very good had Lynch run 2 more times he would have gotten that yard.

So yeah, we should celebrate. But if you're going to be honest, Seattle had the upper hand at the end there. With a minute left it was their game to lose. Then they threw the game away with the most stupid play call I've ever seen. The interception was brilliant, but there should have been no need for a throw.

Still, I'll take it. The Pats are champs, and hopefully Brady can get a couple more!
