Just answered business email from my son-in-law and remembered that he's from Seattle. Whoops!!!

Fortunately, while he's a pretty serious jock, he's not a crazed sports fan.

What was sad is when I mentioned Bill Russell, and both he and my stepdaughter said "Who??".

No way lol. Nothing will ever compare to 2007. I just think with 2007 fans were way more confident. This game can really go either way.

I must have been the only fan who wasn't confident in 2008. The Pats were not playing well and the Giants were hot going in the Super Bowl, so I was surprised they lost but not shocked. I felt the same way in 2012. This year I don't really have a sense either way because the teams are evenly match. I do think the Patriots are in a better position than Seattle, but then you will have to wonder whether or not it will translate during the game.I think we will get sense very quickly how this game will turn about based on the first quarter. Momentum is only as good as your play on the field.

Ok I'm getting a little nervous/hyped...shouldn't have ate those 12 Reece's peanut butter cups.

And the puppy bowl...come on enough.
Dude, the puppy bowl is adorable. They play and they get adopted...what's not to like? I've been switching between that and the Walking Dead marathon. Polar opposites, but it's kept me calm.

After today, I do have more respect for Harbaugh.

He pretty much debunked the notion that the Colts were 'tipped off' by the Ravens, which shows the media has zero integrity.

Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan.

Costas is a quite competent anchor host for the Olympics.

Does he have any other merits?
Informing the world of the dangers of pink eye?

Can't wait for the stupid Pepsi SuperBowl commercial to go away. I hear it 50 times a day.

"You need help? We got Pepsi! BOOOM BOOOM BOOM, EVEN BRIGHTER THAN THE MOON MOON MOON"

I especially love the way these 1920's era white guys welcome the black football player.

Ashley, I just want to wish you and your awesome hair good luck tonight! Go Pats!!!

Haha. My comment will live in infamy forever ! I've learned my lesson - no compliments on the interweb ! Can it reach "no way ------- is making this team" type fame ? Time will tell....

(Anglos are so uptight)

we need an insta-ban for idiots who want to spam up the game thread with deflategate ****

He was the unofficial leader of the Michael Jordan fan club in the 90s.

Besides that, pink eye.

Lucky you. Wish she was in my house.

Actually I don't. Tonight football is more important.
