ESPN NFL Countdown is even worse, they're ripping the Patriots "legacy" right now, especially Cris Carter.

I don't pretend that I'm a member of the Patriots, so I have no need to take what they say as a personal affront.

Are any of you honestly offended by this stuff? You shouldn't be. It's sad and pathetic.

Trent Dilfer defending the Patriots HARD right now, saying he is "shocked" that the other guys think this is "cheating", and that every team in the league, including ones he's been on, have stretched the rules. Then goes on to say "Will we be talking about the Seahawks being busted for PEDs if they win this SB?"

Good on ya Trent.

You are clearly a superior class of fan.

Nah.... I just don't get the outrage over the opinions of guys who spent a decade getting their brains jiggled about in their skulls.

Deion Sanders as always defends the Pats and once again mentions his biggest regret was not playing for Belichick.

Apparently we have no chance according to espn...these guys are really pulling for us to lose

First thing I hear is Marshall Faulk saying Brady is having negative thoughts heading into this game because he lost the last 2. I didn't realize he was a mind reader.
Did Faulk ever make it back to the big show (after losing in 2001)? If not, how would he know (FTW!). :D

We've seen a bit of what BB can do just with Revis locking down a WR1. Imagine what he could have done with Deion locking down half the football field....

What was they're reply?

You should do yourselves a solid and not watch any hype. Every year I don't even go to the channel the game is on until 5 mins before and that's too early sometimes.

All you will hear today is the vitriol the overwhelming majority of "experts" have for us. It will be this way for a long time so no need to hear more of the same garbage.

I am looking up the Pats radio station for the game. I would rather have my old lady bash pots and pans together right next to my head than listen to that turd Collinsworth. I'm setting the over/under on deflategate references from the NBC team during the game at 50.

Why do you all put yourselves through this?
My SB day routine never varies, whether the Pats are playing or not:
1) Take long walks
2) Turn on my Widescreen in the middle of the afternoon for five minutes to be sure the connection is working so I can either get it fixed or make other plans to watch the game.
3) Plan and/or prepare food and booze for the game
4) Turn the TV back on at 6:25 EST. Still leaves me with five minutes of nonsense to watch, but I have to put up with it.

Lewis predicts 34-17 SEA...

Honest to god I am watching the puppy bowl pregame because I can't take the hate and lies

Wife's brother visiting
No football until 6:30
Never watch espn, nfln unless it's a game telecast
Will have game volume turned low
DVR for future re-watch or

I'm dropping NFLN and saving $30 a month because of how the cable company packages it. I advise everybody to do the same.

My advice to you is: Start drinking heavily and STOP watching the pre-game crap. It'll be "all hate, all the time" on every network.

Just wait until Deion Sanders, Heath Evans or Willie come on, ignore the rest of those fools. It is amazing how the "official" network of the NFL is hosted by an almost unbroken line of Patriots haters. Faulk and Warner will never get over losing to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Never. They have employed a defense mechanism that preserves their sense of entitlement to be the victors in that game, only by explaining away the Patriots through various imagined cheating strategies. They need therapists, not a broadcasting platform! And Sapp is just stupid. His Patriots hate is incredulous in that what did he really ever have to do with the Pats during his career?

Let us just hope, regardless of the outcome of the game (and I really do not think it will be close, Pats by double digits), that our newly fired up and assertive owner, Mr. Kraft, sees to it that this panel of professional Pats haters that comprise the main group on their show get to seek employment elsewhere.

As an aside, on ESPN earlier today it appears that Trent Dilfer is trying to make amends for his earlier ridiculous post-Kansas City game comments by essentially dismissing "Deflategate" as nonsense. Of course to his left Ray Ray Lewis continues to bash TB12 and the Pats. How rich for an accomplice to homicides being the ESPN mouthpiece for "integrity."

We can put most of this to bed by a big Super Bowl victory this evening. And, oh yeah, the Globe has an article recently published further decimating the Deflategate nonsense:

JC, even George Will took a steaming dump on Belichick and Brady in his column this morning. Of course, his information presented as factual is actually false, but that's a minor detail.

No, that's George Will who IS a minor detail.

Thanks for filling me in here, guys. I am boycotting all pre-game shows.

Let the haters hate. They are too stupid to know any better.

Come 11pm tonight, they'll all be quiet with their thumbs up their butts.
