We all have rituals and schedules for today: Share!

Pats gear not washed since playoffs started, keeps unwanted guests away, too!
Making patriots confetti, something I haven't done for the last 2 SB's (My fault, sorry)
Hanging my Pats hand towel below the SB Tv.

After some coffee, gotta go on a morning drinks and snacks run, followed by lurking on Patsfans.com, watching the pre game stuff we can get around DC, playing catch-the-football with the doggies, and perhaps making a dent in said drinks and snacks as friends filter over in the afternoon until the game.

GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No friends at family is allowed to come in my house. We do no parties or other shannanigans. Me and my wife and that is it. Last two patriot superbowls there was family/parties involved... Never again.. There is another thing I am doing . but I not gonna tell here out of fear I'll jinx it.

Errands this morning with my BB Hoodie.. proudly displayed.

Come back to the house, will don my "Belichick University T-Shirt"... get some food ready, go to a Superbowl Party around 4:00 PM.. stay sober, monitor Patsfans.com.

Will avoid most of the talking heads today.. have had a enough, my head is in the right "fan" place.. because of this board will probably know more than anyone at the party, then the balance between "smartass" and "wisefan" will come into play..

Church first thing this morning, donate soup through the "Souper Bowl" for the homeless at church. Wife goes to supermarket to get all the drinks and food. Play catch with Pats football with 5 y/o son. Help make dips (jalapeño and buffalo chicken, YUM!). Change into Rodney jersey, Pats pants, socks, and hat. Get misc Pats paraphernalia into living room and make a Pats shrine. Start drinking and watching hours of pregame shows, probably start cursing at experts to the point church will be needed again, ha!

Start off the day with a big breakfast. Then I'm gonna go out and get some last second food items I'm doing this just to get out of the house for a little. Then get back home make some food watch more pregame and slowly count down the hours till kickoff.

Grocery run= DONE! On to pregame.

"probably start cursing at experts to the point church will be needed again, ha!"

You will have a lot of company!

Slept in my Brady jersey last night. Now playing madden and listening to sports talk until 5 and then tuning in

Trying not to throw up from nerves is first on the agenda. Then watch a few movies till around 5pm. I can't do all the pregame stuff on TV, will just make me angry.

I've worn the same Reebok Gronk jersey for the playoffs this year and my grey Patriot sweatpants so I'm doing that again, because it totally helps, right? lol...

I'll be playing lots of video games today to pass the time, lots of Madden and Dying Light on tap. Friends are starting to show up about two hours before kickoff.

On a funny note, my wife and I have been checking in on a cat of her co-workers over the weekend. We went about an hour ago and I had my Gronk jersey in plain view. There was someone snowblowing the driveway and he looks at me and says "that jersey is no good", I say (like I always do), "who's your team", he replies "my team was out of it months ago" HA! I never could get him to name his team...

listening to Aerosmith like I always do before Patriots games.

Darryl where can you get such shirts? I used to have the same one around 2004, but I lost it and cant find them online anymore.

Going to watch pre game until about 1. Then watch all three of the Patriots Americas game and around 4 watch the tom brady hype video and they make food for people to come over and watch some football!

We avoid houses with a bad history, and go with the house that has the hot hand. For example, my poor friend who hosted the 2007 SB, will never host a game again. Todays host has a winning streak going, so that's where we will be.

My Super Bowl ritual is typically work myself up into a tizzy within minutes of waking up. Then trying for hours to calm myself down only to work myself back into a nervous wreck minutes before the game. Today at least I have some stuff to do. Gotta make a giant pot of chili, and have some errands to run.

This is my 49th SB. I haven't been to one, but I have seen every single one of them, and even a few NFL Championships before that.

I'm going back to the original dynasty days and I'll stay at home with family and watch the game. The last few years I went out for the game, and besides the Pats losing twice to the Giants, I also lost 100K when I didn't get my $100 bet in on a safety in 2011. That one still hurts.

I also abandoned the SB Square pools. I've been a notorious winner at the local bar, but I just don't want to be put in the position of winning a ton of cash for a Pats loss. I'm putting all of my efforts into the Pats winning.

Not allowed to have parties anymore after the 2007 loss where I yelled at one of my wife's friends to shut TF up or get out. Talk about a dark cloud on that evening. Cheering for Eli Manning just because you want to be different just didn't fly well with me that night. Especially with what was at stake not mention I had a fair share of alcohol running through me at that point.

No more rituals. I'm just going to go out clean the pool, straighten up the garage and to take my mind off things. I'm definitely more nervous than usual today but that's normal before a Super Bowl. Just want the game to start is all.

Having one friend over......Pats have never lost when he either went to Foxboro with me to watch them or came over to the house to watch them. This has been going on for four years now.

Unfortunately, I was at our last SB appearance thanks to a VIP invite. I won't be making that mistake again...just in case I was the bad luck :( I always put out the ridiculously overpriced Lombardi replica that I bought as it seems to bring luck to the teams that I root for when we aren't in the game. Listening to Sirius NFL radio...I'd recommend avoiding if you lose your temper easily. Lots of "cheater bowl" comments today

Have some gameday rituals that I've worked out over the season, think I've got it down pat. Wake up and go for a run (4 miles for Balt, 5 miles for Indy, 6 miles today for Sea). Eat breakfast and drink a Monster Rehab while browsing Patsfans. Study for promotion (test on Tuesday, so I'm almost finished with that). Then my wife, sons, and I go to a movie (Big Hero 6 for Balt, Paddington for Indy, Night at the Museum 3 for Sea). Then come home and wait impatiently. For Indy and this week we'll eat before the game, for Balt we ate at halftime.

The movie is just so I have something to do while waiting. I can only cook, browse, and study so much before I feel like I will lose my mind.

I wake up, drinks tons of coffee and then start to clean my house. I'm so nervous that I put my energy into cleaning. This allows me to miss most of the pre game dog poo and by 5:30 when I turn the TV on, I have a spotless house. Still not sure if I want to go over to a friends house to watch it, where I know there will be a ton of non Patriot and non football fans, who are there just for the party.

Well typically I get up review some film. Then I toss the ball around with Jules and Jojo a bit. Then I give Giselle a kiss and head into the locker room.
