The Seahawks D-line is at less than full strength and not able to stop Blount from running a little and Brady from having enough time to throw a little. A little running and a little throwing is a potent combination for the New England Patriots.

IMO, this is the first championship caliber team they've have in several years. First time they haven't limped into the tournament held together with duct tape and bailing wire.

Because Revis & Co. will make them one dimensional

Health.. When was the last time we've had a team this skilled and this healthy?

In contrast, Seattle seems to be in worse shape going into this game (I don't know about mentally, but they definitely are on the physical level). I expect Thomas (the MVP of that D) to be way less than 100%, and I expect Sherman to show some signs of wear as well (that injury he sustained in the NFCCG wasn't insignificant). Those are 2 of the best players of that D, and if they are limited in any way, it'll make it that much easier to pass on them... This point of confidence is further underscored if Killer Kam's injury also causes him to lose a step....I think Chancellor is the guy with the best odds of matching up with Gronk, but if he's not at 100%, well I think the Hawks might have to throw something extra to slow down our All Universe TE.

Because the Seahawks defense will have less of an impact on the game than the Patriots defense. The Patriots offense will have more success than the Seahawks offense. Weapons. Seahawks have a running back and a QB. Considering this is the Super Bowl.. not too scary.

Coaching.

Really though, emotion. Team always plays with fire when adversity comes down. 07 SD week 2, Cincy earlier this season come to mind.

Because taking Defense, Offense and Special Teams into consideration, the Patriots are the better TEAM overall.

If I, as a Seahawks fan feared only one thing, it would be this. I think what has gone on over these last couple weeks is extremely disrespectful and I think the Pats will be beyond fired up for this game. They have the emotional edge by far.
