Sorry to say....Joe Montana is a prick

How would Montana know? I thought that the rules changed in the late 90s to allow teams to use their own balls and before that the league controlled the balls. And Montana retired in 1994.

But he doesn't completely throw Brady under the bus. He thinks the PSI rule is stupid and QBs should be able to have the football at whatever pressure they want which means he probably doesn't think this is a big deal.

F that senile old coot. His brain is swiss cheese at this point.

Brady puts a pic of himself wearing Joe Montana's jersey as a kid and Joe Montana basically accuses Brady of asking to deflate the balls (when nothing has been proven - not even how deflated the balls were). Wow. How low can you go. Didn't expect this from Joe M.

Brady has showed up in more SBs than Montana with lesser talent around him. I think Montana knows that if debaters didn't try and use SB victories to validate who is greater, Brady would've kicked him out of the GOAT discussion a long time ago. Now that Brady is possibly gonna win his 4th, Montana is trying to discredit him for his own benefit.

Notice the only QBs that have been *****y are the ones TB crushed (Warner) or ones who are about to move down a peg in SB's or GOAT discussions (Montana, Aikman)

Crybaby *****es.

Aikman seems irrelevant when it comes to GOAT discussions.

Montana is one of the all time greats, period. That said, he joins the group of jealous whiners. Almost all of them seem have reason to be jealous of Brady and Belichick:
Aikman - three rings and jealous Tom could get 4
Montana - worried Tom will tie him with a fourth ring and has already surpassed him with 6 SB starts
Shula - calls Belichick "Belicheat" when Bill ties him for SB head coaching appearances
Faulk and Warner - still jealous of losing SB 36 when they were huge favorites
Local mediots (felger, mazz borges, et al) - have been waiting to take down the Pats for years and make local sports stories all about them and their hateful spite (like the old days when all our teams other than Celtics were losers); they thought they had us after the KC game but came out full barrel negative way too soon but nevertheless they still stuck to their story that Pats were not good enough to make it "when it counts" in the playoffs; now they have deflategate as an excuse to claim they were right in the first place

All of the above are absolutely sickening

I think you guys are letting a reporter determine your perception. I watched Montana on NFLN yesterday and he was just fine.

When they talked about GOAT, pretty much calling him that, he deferred, and said it's hard to compare any position from different eras - and stated categorically that of course Brady was in the conversation. heaped praise all over Brady.

Blew off deflategate as nothing. All he said was that QBs were in control of the ball.

Yeah. This is the worst one and Brady will definitely take this to heart. His boyhood idol. Think he is basically jealous that Brady will equal him. Never seen a fraternity like the football one....very catty. Guys like Rice and Montana who were my first idols before Brady came along have really disappointed me as well. Hope this doesn't affect Brady's game. He is going to feel the entire weight of the world on his shoulders. Gonna be like Rocky fighting Ivan Drago in Russia.

We are with you Brady! The GOATest of them all! Go get 'em....Eye of the Tiger!!!

Notable that Feburary starts the Chinese Year of the GOAT
Hmmmmmm
