Marshall Faulk: It is a fact the Pats taped the Rams' walkthrough and Goodell saw it

Later he said that the league only sent out the warning to not tape signals to the Pats because the Pats were only doing it.
In a September 2006 memorandum sent out by NFL Vice President of Football Operations Ray Anderson, though, all teams were told that "videotaping of any type, including but not limited to taping of an opponent's offensive or defensive signals, is prohibited on the sidelines, in the coaches' booth, in the locker room, or at any other locations accessible to club staff members during the game."[16]

Just like his typical annual whining that every time the Rams got into the red zone, the Patriots stopped them (they were 2/2 in the red zone with 2 TDs.)

Wow! Listening to him on WEEI, he is twisting the facts like crazy. Ironically, he is claiming he wants to deal in facts.

He said it was a fact the Pats taped the Rams' walkthrough. Merloni said the Pats would dispute that and Faulk said it is a fact that Goodell saw the walkthrough tape.

Later he said that the league only sent out the warning to not tape signals to the Pats because the Pats were only doing it.

Seriously, for a guy who obsesses about the Patriots' cheating habits, you would think he would get his facts straight. Too bad the WEEI midday crew sucks and didn't call him out on his BS.
When the truth doesn't line up with the facts, change the facts.

I am a little confused here. I thought Goddell only took over as commissioner in the mid 2000's. How did he see what happened in a game in February 2002 ? Am I missing something here ? Either way Marshall is a whiny punk !!

I think Mr. Faulk has conveniently forgotten that his team could have been run right out of the Superdome that night. The Pats were up 17-3, with about 6 or 7 minutes left. The Rams got down to the Pats 4' yard line, or so, and the Pats forced a fumble that was returned for a TD, which could have been 24-3 at that point game over. But, it was called back, by a holding call on McGinest (convenient). They scored the next play, making it 17-10. My biggest fear was here we go, despite outplaying them all game, something like this would change the game in the Rams favor. Luckily, the Pats managed that historic drive at the end to win, after Rams tied it at 17-17.

I think he also forgets the gracious calls his team got in the 1999 NFCCG against the Bucs, where they won only 11-6, if memory serves me right.

I'll b curious to see if Faulk goes on F n M and whether they enable the BS further

Felger would have an erection the entire time Faulk was making accusations..

I finally tuned that station out because I realize that they actually don't like the Pats and love when they lose or are involved in a controversy.

I don't know if anyone else remembers after the green bay game, but at one point Felger was very obviously annoyed and confused about why no one was outraged that they lost the game .. you could tell he was just sitting and waiting for the Pats to lose a game so he could crap all over them and was losing his mind that callers weren't upset about it... this was after Felger said he expected the Pats to lose 2-3 games during that 6 game gauntlet

I'm never tuning those clowns in again to give them ratings, it's how they run their show by stirring up controversy and being devils advocate on everything tO get people worked up.

The fact that they just got a new 5 year contract makes me want to vomit...

Oh and F Marshal Faulk of course, that guy is a buffoon and I honestly think he's the least respected member of their analyst team amongst his peers

The idiot forgets the regular season game 2 months prior where the Pats proved they could play with them and if they played turnover free football, beat them.

I know NFLN keeps them apart from each other. But I wish they would put him and Willie on a panel together and then when Faulk brings it up Willie could just verbally lay into him about how the the regular season game was their tape. Turned it over 3 times which led to 17 points for the Rams. Game finished 24-17

I would pay to see that, especially if Willie was sitting across a desk from him with his hands folded letting the glare of 147 diamonds blind Faulk while he spews his sore loser whining.

Faulk is a punk. After the Jets(?) game on NFLN, Willie and Brady sat up there with Faulk. I didn't hear Faulk talking all that crap about being spied on and him feeling like he was robbed of a ring. That washed-up hasbeen was kissing Brady's backside and showing the public who's really The Boss. Forget these two-faced hasbeens, like Faulk and Warner. If they can't talk that trash to Brady's face, then I'm not hearing it.

Whoever decided that Faulk has an ounce of talent with a microphone is an absolute maniac. I cannot stand his constant bitterness towards every player that threatens to make him further irrelevant.
Face it Marshall, the Patriots b*tch-slapped you in Super Bowl 36. Your team was 14 point favorites and you all sh*t the bed and then proceeded to roll around and play in it...

M. Faulk......

I'm really surprised that Faulk still has a job. He hurts the integrity of the game every time he yaps like this.

He's making gross accusations absent evidence. If he was right, the league would be black-marked.

The fact that the NFLN continues to employ him is proof positive that RG's NFL is more concerned with views (controversy) than integrity, as if we needed any more proof.

Hey Marshall, put up or shut up.
