We've seen some pretty sweet trick plays this postseason. It's truly been awesome. With that in mind, what other surprise/trick plays do you have in mind that you'd like to see in the SB?

I vote for Revis running out as a receiver in the red zone... I would DIE if he posterized Sherman one-on-one for a touchdown. Maybe Julian Edelman running the read-option with Vereen? Thinking out loud. I know you guys have some great ideas.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few old fashioned 3 back sets from the old days.
Not to much of a trick play but it's not something we see anymore.
Plays we don't see anymore ... a few of them could put a team over the top.
especially the pitch out play with Devlin and Blount out front ... make Sherman tackle ... ouch.

FB - Devlin
RB - Blount
HB - Vareen

I like that idea also, at least for a couple plays. That's a lot of 'back.

I miss old time smash mouth football ... but maybe we get to see some Sunday ... who knows.

Jamie Collins at TE on the goal-line or within the 5 yard line

Hand off to Gronk (not up the middle, but to the outside)

Revis on a go-route

I remember them putting Collins at TE in training camp. Wonder if that would be a possibility.

not really a trick play but I'd love to see the entire D-line shift on some 3rd and short to draw the false start...haven't seen them do that in a long time...

The Hawks dline is not what it was last year. Have to establish the run and the physicality of the Patriots offense to keep them back.

As far as trick plays, remember when the Patriots used no down linemen on defense against Bledsoe in Buffalo? If they get Seattle into passing position this might be interesting.

the only surprise i want to see is Brady or BB on the podium with a totally flat football as they give interviews and accept the trophy. The epic FU

If we ever punt, especially in the 2nd half, sneak Jimmy on the punt team and then audible to a spread formation. Make seattle burn a timeout.

Line Hooman up with his back towards Seattle. That'll confuse the **** out of them.

I was gonna say "how do we sneak him on?", but if the purpose is to make them burn a TO then yeah, awesome idea.

I'm going to go with an end around or double reverse with Edelman throwing the ball to Brady. I also wouldn't be surprised if they use Garroppolo for a read option play to give Seattle a dose of their own medicine.

^We did that once with Mallett in the AFCCG loss to the Ravens. No idea why we wasted that play in the first half. I really want to see a fake kneel down before the half. Most players half ass that play could have Edelman sprint right at the snap down the field and Brady backs up and hits him. Alert the refs before hand though so they don't try to whistle it down.

I was going to go with jet sweep to edleman, back to brady then deep to Lafell.

No no no. Seattle's defense is fast.

Bolden and Blount in the backfield, Gronk split wide right, Lafell in the slot. Run it right at Sherman. Then do it again.

Jet sweep to Edelman with a soft pitch over closing defenders to Amendola with Gronk and Lafell clearing that side.
