Sorry to say....Joe Montana is a prick

Honestly, I was disappointed by this also. This one is the one that has to hurt Tom the most.

Didnt expect this from Montana. I guess all those free pizzas from horseface made him into a douchebag

Yeah. This is the worst one and Brady will definitely take this to heart. His boyhood idol. Think he is basically jealous that Brady will equal him. Never seen a fraternity like the football one....very catty. Guys like Rice and Montana who were my first idols before Brady came along have really disappointed me as well. Hope this doesn't affect Brady's game. He is going to feel the entire weight of the world on his shoulders. Gonna be like Rocky fighting Ivan Drago in Russia.

We are with you Brady! The GOATest of them all! Go get 'em....Eye of the Tiger!!!

The NFL says the balls were "underinflated." That's the narrative, that's what everyone believes. In all likelihood the balls were inflated to the same pressure every other game of similar weather had in the NFL for the last 50 years.

And F*** Montana. Break every record he has Tom.

Notice the only QBs that have been *****y are the ones TB crushed (Warner) or ones who are about to move down a peg in SB's or GOAT discussions (Montana, Aikman)

Crybaby *****es.

Yup. Don't think MJ would be that bitter if LeBron or Kobe gets to 6 rings. And Brady has been nothing but a stand up guy throughout his career. The most talented, competitive and perfect ambassador for the sport. But alas....jealousy overtakes everything else it seems.

Too many PaPa John's with Payton.

No he would, MJ is a huge douchebag. Dunno how he got the reputation of being one of the good guys. I hate LBJ but he's nowhere near as bad as MJ. MJ's hall of fame speech was completely classless. Now that I think about it Bird is a great comparison for Brady. Unselfish, super clutch, and big trash talker in the game.

Montana is certainly one of the greatest ever to have played, in no small part due to his intelligence on the field. Off the field, however, he has been a train wreck through his adult life. A Savant on the football field, an idiot off it. I'm pretty sure Brady has figured that out and could care less what Joe has to say.

Screw him, that's low and pathetic. There is no proof to suggest Tom did anything wrong. Quite the opposite as the NFL's case looks weak as hell.

How nice to diss a man who idolized you his entire life. **** Montana. Hopefully Brady wins and seals his legacy above that jerk off.

Good Job Montana. Brady doesn't have enough chips on his shoulder yet, keep at it!

Even before this statement from this "has been", I have always shook my head when people called him (Montana), the "undisputed" greatest of all time. Look at the teams and talents big nose Joe had around him, Mickey Mouse could have been a star QB, with the surrounding cast he had. Not to mention SF was a bit "shady" back then themselves. What's the matter Joe? Afraid TB will catch up with you in a few days, and possibly pass you up with 5 rings. Heaven know he should have 5 already. And, I think it sticks in his craw that TB is playing way better in his late 30's, whereas Montana was washed up and thrown out like yesterday's paper to KC when he was TB's current age.

I so hope Brady gets 5 before he's done. If he does, good ol' Joe won't even be in the conversation anymore.

Just re-read it. Montana doesn't ouright claim Brady is lying about anything, it could be a reporter twisting things. Suggesting someone did it for him because Brady likes it a certain way isn't the same as calling Brady a liar, and I'll reserve judgment on one reporter's interpretation of the conversation with nothing more. However, he did just say Brady was a "great quarterback" though, and for him to limit his words to this seems slightly suspect to me.

WE really shouldn't be concerned with grown men having their "feelings" hurt. Tom's a big boy now and he didn't grow up in the age of "Every child gets a trophy"....thank God!
