I've completely steered clear mostly. NFLN is not bad though if you watch on non prime time when Willie and Heath are on.

On Blizzard morning, I did see a show on NBC SN called Monday QB. Trent Green, Steve Berline and Rich Gannon discussed the SB game, matchups, QB's etc etc. One thing all three were adamant about, was how little this whole Deflategate thing mattered. It was absurd. They all had no idea what psi was in the balls they played with in their entire careers. It was a joke to them all.

Oh, they all picked the Pats also, due to Bill and Brady. Green said they were the greatest team eva.

I've only watched Marshawn Lynch's press conferences, freaking epic stuff lol
I told myself I'd only start watching/reading pregame analysis when all the BS settled down, but even now that they are talking pure football I get restless listening and waiting for the game. Just gonna hafta find something else to do till Sunday

I don't watch any of those shows except the local Patriots shows from time to time ...
Never watch ESPN shows ... don't read any of the national football sites except at draft time.

I get all the news I need here ... we have members on top of it all so I get it filtered for just the Patriots. ;)

I don't do Twitter or Facebook or any of it ... I'm a hermit crab and a very peaceful one at that.
I used to be on top of it in my early days here in during the Super Bowl years ...

But after a while following those ball washing rump swabs just ruins my enjoyment of the Patriots.
I'm more of a Patriot fan than I am an NFL fan so they are useless to me.

Pretty much and OMFG the anticipation is killing me, i even had a dream 2 nights ago that the patriots won the super bowl, and it's almost Friday getting so close, 2 and half days till kick off as the mental torture continues

I can't think of any reason why I'd want to do something so silly as to avoid media SB news.

That's probably supposed to mean something, but it doesn't. In all likelihood, pretty much everyone who claims that they're avoiding the media is lying.

I really don't watch the shows ... but sure ... I see your point ... some cannot resist.

It's all over television. It's all over the radio. It's all over the newspapers. It's all over the internet. It's ubiquitous. About the only way for someone to avoid reading media coverage of the SB is to avoid all forms of media. Hell, the OP is acknowledging following it even as he claims to be avoiding it.

Additionally, the tables are turning and with the NFL pretty much admitting they dont have any data to back tampering it will be great to see things start moving the other way and some people eating crow.

The only thing I watched was on line, BB's 2nd press con which had nothing to do with the SB and Kraft's support of BB & Tom and his picking up the gauntlet from the league FO.
Then again, I never watch the sports TV channels and I gave up on Boston area sports radio years ago.

I shut off TV completely when the Brady BB ****storm started on all channels.
Netflix! Justified on FX and OK, OK, Downton Abbey.

I've been doing the same thing but honestly I always do that. I just don't value the opinion of 99 percent of the media.... And that's even when they say good things about the patriots. I simply don't care what they think.

Sorry to say I spent too much time following deflategate saga. Mostly on the internet, very little on TV. There was way too much condemnation on TV. Surprisingly, the last two days of First Take with Bayliss and Smith were quite entertaining, them interviewing present and former NFL players about the outcome of the game, deflate gate, etc.

I did avoid it for a day or two because of the witch hunt. But now its great because all of these assholes can eat mega **** as the NFL has pretty much come out and said we have zip.

I have mostly stuck to this site for any Pats related news these past 2 weeks.

I think NFL NETWORK has been amazing with their daily coverage and extremely balanced.

I've watched all day and night everyday this week. Don't think I've flipped the station except for some of the local shows I like on SNNE.

I have all espn stations on a parental control block. Not joking.

nfl network has been pretty neutral, they are even careful not to use the word deflategate. Mostly talking football .

I use this site however if something comes on the radio or TV I quickly change the station.
BTW I live in Tacoma WA so I would get crushed by Seahawk people if I speak out so I remain silent.
I need to keep my emotions in check.

I don't watch BSPN anymore unless there's a game I really want to watch,I don't get NFLN but I've been listening to Sirius NFL. I can't listen to the local stuff because it's all about the Seahawks.
Getting super stoked for this game, our team doesn't do this every year so I want to enjoy as much as possible.

Anyone else not watching NFL network or listening to predictions ect. I have completely isolated myself from any news besides Patriots.com and Twitter. No NFL articles..no Inside NFL videos ect. Really nothing at all. I am proud of myself :)
ive avoided 99 percent of it. i get most of my news from this site. no felger and spaz all week. i did listen to gresh and zoe all week. no espn what so ever. i hate espn with a passion.
