Can anyone recommend a place to watch the Pats in Glendale? First trip to the Super Bowl and unlikely we'll get tickets at these prices. Is there a public viewing party near the stadium, downtown, etc?

What about bars? Do you need to wait in lines early in the morning or what?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I live out here and frequent all of the Pats bars...

Tosos - Biggest Pats bar out here located in N. Phoenix. Expect a couple hundred Pats fans attending this one. I believe they are also having a rally Saturday night and Pat the Patriot & Cheerleaders will be there. The bar looks 'meh' and the food is pretty horrible. Not sure if they are planning on catering or not. The main viewing room has a huge projector of meh quality. There's another side room with some lounge seats that has a good TV. The other is the main bar room that's a large room where the bar is with tons of meh TV's.

Baers Den - Pretty small place located in Tempe near ASU. Owner flies in Maine Lobster for all the games and makes some pretty good food. Expect this little bar to be shoulder to shoulder as the max capacity is probably <75 people.

Nates Third Base - Good sized bar in Chandler. The TV's surrounding the bar are all of good quality however their main viewing room has a large projector of meh quality. Down side is when watching the game, the whole 'right' wall of the projector is glass and there can be a big glare on the screen during the day. Glare can't be fixed due to the doors not having blinds (fire law).

Beyond that, I can't speak for anything else you ask :)

Thanks for this info. I have been looking for places to go and wondered if Tosos is the place to go. What happened to the Vine? That was the place to go last time the Pats were in AZ for the Super Bowl.

I read that some of the bars/restaurants (Yard House) directly across from the stadium are charging $900 to reserve a table.

Im not sure whats included if anything.

The city of Phoenix has seen Seahawks fans coming. None of this ticket gouging and fleecing of the public on this scale happened at SB42.

The Vine likely burned to the ground because of a grease fire.

.

It's sad that I can actually justify that as a bargain.

Just got tickets and booked a flight so a little behind on planning. Anyone know Pats friendly places in Scottsdale?

Have fun everybody! Leaving for the airport very early in the morning (please snow stay away until I take off at 8:25 am). I don't know a specific Pats friendly place in Scottsdale, but the last time we were there in 2007 there were lots of fans of both teams wandering around there.

The NEPFCA gathers at Toso's Bar & Grill in North Phoenix for every Patriots game! Our club features over 300 members and is THE BEST place to watch Pats games in the state of Arizona! We have a lot of cool stuff planned for the 2014-15 New England Patriots season and look forward to having you join us at Toso's every week for the Patriots' pursuit of their fourth Super Bowl trophy!

My house. :) haha. Sorry. There's no specific pro Pats bar in scottsdale that I can remember seeing lately. There's a few Seahawks bars though...the Skeptical Chemist is a well known SeaChickens pub. You could go in a ruffles some feathers in the chicken coop!

At Tosos for a pre game drink. All Pats fans lots of tv'so no cover. If you can't get a ticket, good place to come! They are doing raffles of good stuff!

I saw you!

Hi Deb. My heart cant take many more Pats Super bowls. It seemed like there were a lot of Seahawks fans at the game judging from the noise. Was that true?

Wish I had known to say "hi!" Yes, it was probably 2-1 in the stadium in favor of the Seahawks, and they have an annoying chant where one guy yells "Sea" and everyone else within earshot yells HAWKS in return and they were loud, ****y and obnoxious going in. I thought the Pats fans (& the stadium music) did a decent job of drowning them out at times, but it was hard to tell. They were very loud when the Pats had the ball. Were Pats fans loud on tv? We were outnumbered, but there were still quite a few of us there, particularly in the lower bowl on the Pats sideline to the middle of the end zone.
