League Testing Earl Thomas for HGH

Cheater?

They should be testing both him and Sherman. Wouldn't surprise me if they were using some illegal substance to heal faster.

After Vinatieri got tested immediately following a 53 yard field goal, I'm skeptical how random this random drug testing really is.

Regardless, I'm of the belief that players should be allowed to use HGH (under doctor supervision) for injury recovery. So I hope they don't find anything, as I feel it would be an unfair thing to hit him with right now.

You'd have 99% injury rate immediately. It's a PED and it makes a HUGE difference.

And by the way, one of the biggest reasons there are so many catastrophic injuries in the NFL is PED use. Human beings aren't supposed to be that big and fast.

even if he gets pegged suspension better be next year.. less excuses if they lose.

Random testing happens...They even test punters! Nothing to see here..

Would have been better as an open letter:

Dear Aunt Lur'Sprae,

Please include me in your prayers so I could heal and be at a competitive level to defeat the New England Patriots.

Sincerely,

Earl Thomas

As to the subject, I'm sure it's more posturing than actually feeling better. He's got to be hurting.

I have a hard time believing that that's a coincidence, but part of me wants him to test positive, just to shut up the whole "Pats are cheaters!" crowd.

A 3rd of the Seahawks team has already been suspended for PED's at one time. Somehow people are ignoring that though when calling the Pats cheaters

The former GM for the Panthers said the Patriots cheat...and a bunch of offensive linemen on his team tested positive for PEDs! People can't stand a winner nowadays.

I'm ultra-libertarian on this topic so I'll leave it at that.

But if you presume that drug testing is a thing that should be done then it makes sense to test people who suffered pretty significant injuries 2 weeks before one of the biggest games of their life but still plan to play.
